Once again, Mascha, you have taken cartomancy to a deeper level of understanding in the perspective of historical importance. Your dedication toward tradition is an inspiration!
L❤VE L❤VE L❤VE Mine is #3 and I’m sensing you’re enjoying this Marco Benedetti deck as much as I am. Loving the magnets 😍 too!! I have that deck in the same foil finish. The following is a quote from Shell David about the cardstock :- If you look closely, you'll see that the verge paper is aligned with corrugation in a vertical (top to bottom) arrangement. This is actually historically correct. The vertical alignment of the verge texture gives it a stronger structure, like multiple spines running up and down the card, kinda like a corrugated sheet. I don't know of anyone besides Marco who makes this effort to create a deck as historically accurate as this.
Thank you, my friend!🙏❤️ Yes, I’m so enjoying my #2 Payen from Marco! I cannot be happier with it! It truly is exquisite!😍 And yes! The magnets are super fun & I find them very handy already! 🥰 Thank you so much for including Shell’s quote explaining about the paper and crediting Marco’s accuracy in this tarot restoration! Very important to acknowledge that! ❤️ Much love, M
LOVE this restoration of the 1743 Payen! I have the Noblet winging its way to me! ALL Marco's decks are simply beautiful and the production quality second to none! Thank you for showing this deck.....another to my list of "next buys!"🤗🌻
Me too, dear Ann!🥰 This Jean Payen is my first tarot from Marco & this restoration is just fantastic! ❤️ Please let me know your thoughts on the Noblet once it arrives! 🤗 🙏❤️
@@musingsbymascha Hello dear Mascha, thank you for such a wonderful review of Marco's Payen . I have just ordered a copy ! The quality of his decks and his help and friendly correspondence always make his decks so very special. His Minchiate is just too too beautiful! @@TheMiewmiew Hello dear Ann, Thank you SO much for your warm comment and support - it means so much to me! 🤗🙏💖 Aww, you ordered a copy of the Payen! GORGEOUS! 😍 I love this restoration of the 1743! I think I’ve seen a restoration of the 1713 (Yves Raynaud?) that I also loved because of the green with the darker blues. Either way, this one is absolutely stunning. Thank you! ❤️🙏🪷👏
Yes! I love the 1713 from Yves too, but this 1743 is just so sublime! It truly is a stunner of a historic tarot reproduction. 🥰 Natalie, thank you for being here! 😘🙏💖
@@musingsbymascha It’s a pleasure! I so enjoy hearing you talk about the decks! Okay so I’m not crazy in thinking I’d seen a 1713 reproduction & Yves is the one who did it. The overall quality of this one is spectacular in an entirely different way. I completely understand how besotted with it you must be! 😅❤️🙏🪷💕
@@SanskritBlue awww, you are the sweetest, dear Natalie! 😘🙏🤗💙 Yes, 1713 is Jean Pierre Payen (who was from the Payen family) produced by Yves/ Tarot de Marseille Heritage is a different tarot from Jean Payen 1743. Too many Jeans they had in that family of card-makeres! LOL! Both are awesome though! 😊
Hi Mascha, I have recently discovered your amazing channel. thanks for this great video,I love this deck. I am a Tarot de Marseille lover myself and in the very beginning process of restoring a historic one. will let you know when it's out. Your new subscriber Nova 🧡🙏🏻
Hello Nova, Thank you so very much for your kind words and for subscribing! 🙏💖 Yes, while I love so many tarot decks, Tarot de Marseille is my preferred lineage of tarot. I just love it! 🥰 Oh, how exciting you are restoring a historic tarot! I can not wait to hear more about your deck, Nova!😍🤩😍
I LOVE the mini magnets and wish it were a mini deck instead. Shuffling magnets would probably be less than ideal, But what a pretty majors deck that would make in miniature size.
I LOVE these magnets, Robin. I have a little A4-sized magnetic board and all of the mini-magnets (major arcana) fit onto it! I actually prefer them as magnets. They will be so handy when I have to demonstrate larger spreads on the video without cards flying around and without me wishing having 8 arms. LOL. P.S. I managed to riffle them magnets too..
😑the cardboard has regular lines typical of paper packaging material, boxes for example. It doesn't seem to me of quality and certainly not antique. Wrong support. Even for the graphic rendering 🙄I much prefer the magnificent work of Yves Reynaud.
Thank you for watching! 🙏 I’m, too, a big fan of Tarot de Marseille Heritage team of Yves Reynaud and Wilfried Houdouin (the latter is a graphic designer who does the graphic rendering of their wonderful tarots). Pierre Madenie, Francois Chosson and Francois Heri 1730 are amongst my most used and treasured tarots from them. 💙 I have to disagree though about what you said about the quality of the Payen Tarot I featured in this video. The quality of the paper used for in this tarot is superb, and I can not imagine it to be better. It is rather wonderful that these days there are so many options available to us, historic tarot appreciators, which satisfy our preferences and aesthetics. 😊
