He’s not leaving hermitcraft. He’s just finishing his season seven content. Every hermit ends their personal season at different times. Most don’t upload content all the way through the end of the group season. They wrap up their projects and take a break until the next season starts (which looks to be coming fairly soon)
Xisuma released his final video of HC season 7 already and Grian said he's gonna do the finale in the next episode, also everyone else is trying to finish their projects as soon as possible so yeah it probably is
