I seriously can’t wait for the rest of Secret Life, these moments are the greatest and even better animated. Didn’t know what I thought about the tasks mechanic at first, but it’s already lead to some of my favorite moments (like BigB’s hole).
This is amazing 😂 Love the perfectly cut scream from Skizz when Tango killed the frog, love the bit where Grian says “I’m being gaslit” just before the video cuts to the next audio clip, love Bdubs’ expression as he yells that he knows his house is upside down, love Skizz’s expression as he sarcastically says “Well, it’s like a giant hug” love it, I love it all 💜
Massively improved Skizz's sarcasm in "it's like a giant hug" with your expression work. In the actual episode it felt more cheery/good-hearted, but having the lowered eyebrows is just *chef's kiss*.
Yesss they really brought more emotion to it because I didn’t even notice this interaction much during tangos video but this is my favorite scene now 😂

BigBs way to keep a secret by gaslighting is amazing, grian thought he had to dig a tunnel to the secret, keeper and jimmy thought he had to fall down the hole. the way BigB just smooth talks and agrees with the suggestions until they gaslight themselves is amazing.
I LOVE IT! All the little details, how Skizz checks his watch before running away, how when Grian says "I'm being gaslit" it's a close up of his face. And of course, how there is an arrow pointing to where Martyn is supposed to land. Awesome Rusty! Also, regarding last stream. Gideon would love to collaborate on something if you're up for it!

This is awesome. This really does encapsulate session 1 really well. And I love how expressive everything is. The bit w/ Lizzy reading her poem to Joel was my favorite part. Just Joel's expressions of confusion and mild annoyance. Also the way you draw Bdubs being absolutely shocked and angry... spectacular. The fact that the first clip was of Tango killing the frog is perfect. Skizz's scream of terror. As if that moment is the most important moment of the entire first session (which it could be) I can't wait to see more of your animations! If you do more for each session... I can't help but notice a lack of some members in this first one... so... (would've loved to see Scar's Star Wars rant, whether the one about the movies and shows or his absolute disappointment and anger towards Tango when finding out it was all a joke, and one of the many bits with Etho stealing beds/getting the server to sleep... but... the clips you picked were perfect and you did such a fabulous job that I can't complain --- and it's better to focus on a few small clips than try to animate everything.) Another thing I want to note as I'm rewatching. Gem's nervous and confused looks at Skizz, mixed with him looking down at his watch to confirm he finished the task. Amazing. The way you put these little clips into animation form is so amazing.

Here are the moments I liked most: 0:07 The scream was just... perfection. 0:26 I love how expressive you made Grian's movements, he's a guy who's so full of life... and he's a bit frantic in this moment. 0:38 The tail 1:03 he gets so angry, and then he apologizes 1:08 This whole scene, Joel and Liz are an amazing duo 1:41 That was SMOOTH. the composition of each shot is great! the framing is very dynamic and makes even more mundane interactions (well, as mundane as they get with this group) interesting and entertaining to watch. i also love how different everyone’s faces are even in a simplified style! excellent work :)

Omg, I love Bdubs reaction, cause it covers just how frustrated that man is. He got a beautiful horse that he had to kill horses to make the saddle, only for it to be a bad horse stat wise, and his task quite literally hurts his pride as a builder. He did not have a good day (compared to the players who were losing hearts left and right).

Skizz had a task that said "Stay within 10 blocks of Gem for 10 mins" and even he knew that he was being weird, there was just nothing he could do about it :')
