Fishing for pike? I would use a bottle cap with a treble hook they literally bite on anything but seriously Red Devil or 5 of Diamonds is my go-to for pickerel a black long jig they love worms too. Been fishing for 30 years :) Edit: I just got to the part where you are fishing with the leech, yay
I've never had luck with jigs or spoons and I've never successfully caught a trout. Ever. I fish with a lure called the, "Bass stopper" or Bass magnum" three hook weedless. They have double hooked ones but the three hooked ones work best for me. Recording is absolutely worth it.
Giday from Ottawa. Good all round lure is the Mepps white blade with red dots. You won't be disappointed. #3,4 for walley pike and bass. Take off the treble hook and put on a single hook. Tip with a 6" gary yokamoto(probably spelled wrong).#1-#2 work well on trout also a single hook. Give them a try if you can find them. Love the channel keep the vids coming.👍☕️🍻🦌🇨🇦
