Even though this story might be fake, i know of a similar story. A friend got locked up trying to provide for his family because his "wife" was complaining about what he couldn't do. He made some bad decisions on her pressuring of him and got locked up. After he was locked up, he found out she was cheating. Once he couldn't do anything for her, she tried to put the child up for adoption. When she found out that his parents were gonna take the child, she backed out probably because the grandparents were gonna make sure the child would know the father. The courts were useless and, to this day, he has not been able to meet his child because the courts won't take the child from her because "children need their mother".
The court tried to keep me with my mother regardless of her abusing me, hurting my dad and such.. after my dad got evidence of her being mentally unstable, hitting me till I was bruised, thats when the court finally let my dad have custody over me. The court failing many children with letting the abusive momsters have custody over dads. Edit: typo.
Why be embarrassed? This is reality, accept it and be glad you have such a wonderful family. I am and always will be. If she had not been adopted, she would have gone to a foster agency and many cases state ironclad that many children suffer horrific fates.

By going behind adopted parents and four sets grandparents, this OP trampled and disrespected them to the core.
