This is who Tinashe should have taken lessons from. The fact that Mya literally had to go in the studio to record the tap dancing steps into the microphones to implement the sound effect into the music video is wild. Now, that's hard work and dedication a lot of artists don't have today. Mya even had to rehearse the dance moves before, even going into the filming process. 🎥 I miss making the video. Thanks for posting this.
Yessss!!! Thank you for uploading this! Summer of 03’ I was 12 years old & I remember watching music videos every day just to name a few: “Ice Cream” by JS, “Get Low” by Lil Jon & The Eastside Boyz, “Like Glue” by Sean Paul ,”Rock Wit You (Aww Baby) by Ashanti & of course this gem “My Love Is Like Whoa”❤🎶 This is my favorite video by Mya & I remember it being my favorite that summer ❤🎶 Mya is such an immensely talented & gifted performer & so very underrated! I love that “Moodring” album 💿 “Step” “Sophisticated Ladies”, “Fallin” & of course “My Love Is Like Whoa”🎶 🙌🏽
Thanks for this! I remember when it premiered on MTV. Do you happen to also have her behind the scenes footage of “Fallen”? I believe that was on BET’s Access Granted if I’m not mistaken.
EXACTLY why I clicked!!! 😂😂😂😂 this is why Bey said "We all been plagued by the plagiaristic" in Spaghetti lol. Basically saying she gets copied and she copies....
the way this was over 20 years ago and still looks current. timeless music 😊
That’s insane 20 years??? I’m getting old
When artists took they work seriously ❤
Her BEST single, one of the best 21st century RnB songs…period
Case of the Ex is my favorite 💯💯

Mýa comes from that golden era of 90s RnB Artists. The work ethic is like no other.
Plus, Mýa's natural abilities was the icing on the cake.
True. Now its all AI and they are paid millions and get all social media attention...its so easy and effortless today...
One of MY FAVORITE VIDEOS OF ALLLLL TIME!!!!
People want to be an artist because of the admiration but it's a lot of grueling hours dedication and hard work much respect to Ms. Mya
