How are we only weeks away from 2023?! Sis, time is truly flying! But it's not too late (or too early) for us to set the gaols God wants us to set for 2023. In today's video, I share the 3 step goal-setting process I used over 2022 that allowed me to actually see God show up in my life and through the goals I achieved (with Him). It can be tempting to rush through this process but slow and steady wins this race. I pray these super simple but intentional steps allow you to incorporate God into your year and goals more than ever before. Enjoy!!

For me, I've learned that I can't do it all and I was never designed to. I've also learned that surrendering it all to God is a process!! He's worthy of it all.

How to surrender all to God?
I cannot pray more than 5mins ...I run out of words then I quit praying ....Help please iwant this year to be me and God
@@zatsogibson136 keep growing your relationship with God and never stop praying just say whatever is on your heart and don’t forget that the length of your prayer is not what counts some days you might not have a lot to pray about and some days you might have a lot just talk to Jesus about your day and worries even if he already knows he always wants to spend time with you. You can just have a long conversation with him about everything like you would do with a friend you trust in and read your Bible often and pray about the verse or chapter you just read. Something I’ve learned abt myself: i cannot pull all nighters & procrastinate like i used to. Its not sustainable & its an area in my life i need to really invite God into
I’ve learned that God’s timing is truly always perfect & he will never leave or forsake me
This year, I learned that growing is a process that belongs to the Lord. Their was a lot of pruning, healing, delivering, pressing, pushing this year. It was tough, but I learned that resting in the lord requires trusting him to have complete control. God uncovered core parts of myself that I identified with my entire life. Naturally being driven, ambitious and hard working is now being corrected to a posture of moving patiently. I am now able to see how growth can happen during struggles. The biggest lie was removed. I don’t have to do everything perfectly to be in alignment with the lord. I am grateful for this years lessons and look forward to be in tune on the focus for the next. 😊

This year, I have learnt that God is always working things out for my good… no matter how much delays or denials I experience. His ways are definitely higher than mine!
In July I had the worst anxiety ever. I didn’t even want to live anymore. I was drowning in worry and fear. Each day felt dreadful. Until I remembered I had God. He saved me. I’ve never been better before. I’m still learning. I’m still taking baby steps in our relationship. But it’s gotten way stronger. I’m forever grateful for my salvation. I love him so much. I hope this year that’s coming I commit my self even more to God. That I learn so much more.
I was in a situation just like yours. I was so discouraged but I kept praying and having faith that GOD will pull me through this situation and HE WILL!
I've learned that life dependant on God and not my own efforts is so much less stressful and allows me to enjoy and strengthen my relationship with Him....He really does care abouy every little detail...we just have to trust Him! 🥰❤🙌🏾
One thing I learned about myself was I need to speak up more, be more confident and that I didn't need to be perfect when I gave my heart to the LORD on 3/15/22. One thing I've learned about GOD is HE IS ALWAYS RIGHT ON TIME!!!!!!
I’ve learned that God truly wants to be our everything. I’ve gone through trial after trial this year, and He has shown me that He and He alone is my source for ALL things ❤

What I have learned this year is that being led by God is the way to an effortless life. Extract from the book @whenGodLeads by Daniel Nya Allo truly blessed me “God doesn’t lead those who have their mind up”. Such a wonderful book.

I learnt that God is always on time and He knows our needs. This year, I had a period of isolation and that period changed my life, I became closer to God and became a more patient individual. God is indeed 😊
I have learned that I have to be patient and wait on the Lord. I am quick to jump and do things or try to handle or solve things but I've learned that the battle is not my battle to fight, the battle belongs to the Lord. I have to have faith 🙏 and know that the Lord will do things in his timing and not mines.
I learned that God cares about the little things also.. ❤
I learned that God’s plans are greater than my own. Every time I planned something and it didn’t work out, I was upset but what came after that was far greater than what I planned from the beginning! ✨
As a kid I grew up in church I’d describe that time at church , in our small church it was like a family and it was where I spent time with my grandma and grandpa and cousins. But I stopped because when I needed God the most in my life was through my teenage years . I stopped believing in God . I’m 20 now but if I had realized how being a Christian it is not just about community and worship , those are important but I didn’t know that Gods love is in everything , in me . I didn’t know God’s word is alive and powerful . I didn’t know that once I opened the Bible for genuinely reading it to understand God’s words I’d be changed. I came back to God when I turned 20 in July because of wanting to connect to my Grandma again through God’s word and now righting this I’m pleased to know I did do that but also grateful that I’m building a relationship with God.
I've learned that I am way to reactive and anxious and that I need to breathe and just listen to God more. I've also learned that I'm too much of a people pleaser
This year I’ve learned that God has a time and a place for everything. And that His timing is perfect even if I am waiting for what seems like forever lol.
In 2022, I learnt that disconnecting from God is making ourselves open to arrows from the devil. However the goodnews is that God is always by the corner with His Arms wide open waiting for us to run back to Him so He can restore us. I thank God for His Mercies 😭😭😭
Hey! I am so excited to say I’ve started my walk with God around 5 months ago and it has been the best thing that has ever happened to me. Before these 5 months I would have considered myself a Christian but I never truly knew who God was and what it meant to have an actual relationship with Him. I say these past 5 months have been the best thing that has ever happened to me, which it is, but that does not mean it hasn’t been a struggle. I have been in a season of isolation and I mean… an extreme isolation. I have had no distractions or contact with anyone but I know God has done it all for a reason. It not only helped me see what I needed to work on but what I needed to heal from and how to truly live a loving life. Before that, I knew nothing of it. I used to crave validation, abuse substances and I had no hope for my future. I hit an all time low but God saved me. My biggest lesson for this year was that, we aren’t alone, never have been. God has always been here, even when He feels far. Another is, regardless of what people say/do to you, you can’t let it determine who you are. The only opinion that matters is Gods. God above all. But I do not want anyone to think this is an easy overnight fix, I am still working at it everyday but with God, He makes it so much more worth it and a lot easier.

I've learned about God this year that no matter what you go through, or who comes and goes, God is faithful! He will stand with you, and take your hand.. And help pull you through the fire, if you truly have faith, and love him.. He will see you through it all!❤ 🙏
I know that God is faithful, however he proved it when I kneeled at the helm of his garment for my mom to beat cancer. Meaning she had a tumor and I prayed that it was nowhere else in her body, and it was in the tumor only. She is declared cancer free by the father, son and Holy Spirit.
My mind is still in shock from the entire experience and I’m healing from it still. I don’t think anyone unless you’ve experienced it understands the trauma and mental abuse that comes along with hearing, coping and being strong for someone in that vulnerable space when you don’t even know how to be strong for yourself in those moments.

I’ve learned this year that God is growing my faith through a very long year of waiting in many areas. He is teaching me you just can’t rush the process. He has also revealed to me that surrender is my word for 2023.

I’ve learned so much! One is that there is winning in the waiting.
i learned that i cannot do anything ANYTHING AT ALL without God being the center, without leaving things at his feet, and that my will and plans and everything really, must align with Gods. Jeremiah 29; 11 For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope & a future.
I’ve learnt that God really does care. We might not understand & see the why but that’s why it’s important to walk by faith & not by sight. Life is so much less stressful when i’m fully dependent on Him & seeing life through His eyes allows me to remain joyful. Additionally, living the way he intended us to live as His children is life changing !
I learned that at the beginning of this year I was using God as an accessory. I only prayed when I needed something, or when I wanted him to do something for me. I didn’t have a true relationship with him. In the middle of the year, I asked the Lord to truly make me over, to change my entire outlook, and by his grace I have been changed. I am learning his word and I am hearing his voice, something I have never been able to do before.
I have learned when God gives you a promise He will ensure that even when it seems hard, somehow you will rise and stay tenacious, showing that He is with you in it all.
I learned that God makes the impossible, possible, and to write down all the things God says to me and what He has done for me so I didn’t forget it :)
This year I learned that I needed to let go for God to truly work in my life. So this year I am going to make the conscious effort to connect with him so that I can experience what surrender looks like.
God first kept saying to me I need your obedience, then I need you to forgive (yourself most of all), and to love others instead of judging them. It was clear beyond any explanation when I started hearing his voice. He delivered me from where I was which was witchcraft and I’m so on fire for him now. God is able 🙌🏼
I thing that I was learned this year that the God showed me is that I need to ALWAYS as for His guidance whenever I am going to plan or do something. Something happened these few months in which I had my plan to start my career and nothing was falling into place and I was so panicked and worried about my future . BUT I never spoke and asked the Lord about it my plan. I prayed and He spoke to me that everything is in his hands and that I am going to be ok, giving me a huge sense of peace that only the Holy Spirit can give. Always go to Him before anything.
Serving and seeking God intentionally sets you up for a good life 😊
One thing I learned about myself this year is to always advocate for myself and value myself in alll aspects. One thing I learned about God this year is when you truly repent and come to Him when you need help, He will definitely come through for you. He showed me His true character by taking care of me. And I learned to always trust Him when I prayed for things. Whenever I needed something or wanted something, they always came at a time that I did not expect it. I love Him!
This year, I learnt that God isn't waiting for me to make a mistake, but is waiting for me to come home to him xx
it’s 2023 but last year was the worst year of my life but became the best cause i truly found God . he was always there but i never realized. I’m just blessed and thankful God has forgiven me for my terrible past .

I’ve had things that I had to be patient on, but things have also happened when God gave me a heads up, but I didn’t fully heed his voice/direction. Which made me lean on God EVEN MORE in the process but also I could’ve relieved myself of unnecessary stress.
For me this year taught me so much about God. Through my shortcomings, pain and heartbreak, I learned that the Lord is intentional and that he loves me so much. His protecting me from something or from someone has shown me how overprotective he is, and that He wants only the best for me. I also learned to stop viewing things from my earthly view and how to view things in God's eyes, as the Apostle Paul says (1 Cor 2:13) "comparing spiritual things with spiritual things". As for myself, I learned my gifts in the Lord and my academic potential. I've learnt how to love myself and I've allowed myself to be loved by God. Thus, letting Him take first place over anything in my life. God is so sovereign!
In 2022, I strengthened my relationship with the Lord. I learned that if I don’t have my prayer & quiet time at the beginning of my day I don’t feel complete or centered. I fell off with my quite time a few months ago & I’ve noticed that anxiety & depression have increased tremendously. I’m praying that I can find the strength to get started again & stick with it.

Good day everyone.
One thing that I've learned is sometimes one prayer is enough and sometimes you have to pray and seek the Father multiple times.
I give up on me and hand over me to GOD. I am the clay, he is the potter, let him mold me however he wants, I'll just follow HIS lead.
One thing that I learned about my relationship with God this year is that I’m exactly where I need to be to become who He wants me to become. ❤
Wow! Yes! Same thing. I had my heart set to continue school but God has other plans 😮
I’ve learned that I am braver than I thought and God truly will never leave me or forsake me! 🙏🏾
I learned that I can be quite impatient when it comes to waiting for the things that God has promised me. I have learnt that God is faithful, and not *slow*. At the right time God will make things happen (Isaiah 60:22)!
I learned that God is really patient with me. I keep being disobedient and still he corrects me lovingly. I don’t deserve his grace. But everyday I want to do 1% better for Him. I learned I should love myself a little more and wait on Gods plans for my life.
What God has taught me this year that even through adversity and even through things that are difficult I am still here I am still blessing you I’m still taking care of you I’m still with you! And even saying this out loud brings tears to my eyes to come to the realization that I’ve been through a lot but God has blessed me even more than what I’ve been through!
This year I've learnt that I was so lost and didn't know who God really is. I was just religious. I have learnt and still learning that God loves me and us all so much, we are his own. God is our Shepherd, always there for us and ready to hear from us/transform our lives. He is the light and life of the world, in him there is so much peace, comfort, joy, restoration, redemption and love. Living and walking with him is so liberating and refreshing. And finally, that he has called me and he has been working on my spiritual growth; honestly so much pruning is going on, am so glad he is with me. My growth is in process.
I learned about myself that I can definitely be a better me and Change my old ways. And I Learned from God that he’s ALWAYS with me and made the first statement possible. If it wasn’t for the lord and the Holy Spirit I wouldn’t be where I am today. And that he has bigger things for us.
This year I learned about letting go Of my past my hurt and also to Have. Faith and Let God and being in my word more and Now I had a whole revelation about everything I been through as a whole was for a purpose alone and it was an eye opener for me for years i never knew and God answered so that prepared me for the new year how to do things not only different but Godly Way

I learned that I don’t have to have it all figured out. Waiting on God is a process/journey. God preps and protects us during this process. God is a patient and wonderful teacher. He leads to good things and through hard things. He is engineering all the small details and desires of my life. God desires to share his will with us, he doesn’t withhold or conceal anything from us. We are responsible for spending time with him to hear from him so he can instruct and teach us the way we should go. Psalms 32 and Ps 125:1 has been helpful so far.
I learnt how to be self aware and that in the eyes of the Father I am special which has reflected in my day today life.

I learned a lot and I saw God moving me even when I was stubborn. I used to smoke a couple of days ago my grandmother caught me and I sat down and realized that this is what I have been praying why am I crying.. But because I serve a living God I am putting my trust in him

I have seen this video pop up for a little bit but I have been running from watching it because I have been feeling in my heart that the Lord wants me to lay down my life/things in my life that I have been holding in a tight grip. The goals that I wanted to achieve created on my own were very superficial. And He has been showing me the posture of my heart and it’s been a hard pill to swallow. Watching this confirmed to me that I have to let go and surrender and stop trying to run away from what God is trying to do in my life. I have to step out in faith and allow God to be God. The verse “Be still and know I am God” is one that I am keeping with me in this season. God bless you!

Okay now, one thing I have learned about myself this year is as I began my search in finding my purpose in God’s will for my life, I made my life sooo much harder than it needed to be. By trying to please other people and always worrying about a lot of different things. I missed out on so much because of this, but now….I have slowed down a lot with my life, work, people and my gifts. I did this so that I can hear God more and to make sure I am walking accordingly to His will.

I learnt that there is no basis to New Age Spiritualism. The only answer is through Jesus Christ. I was stuck in a cycle of drugs, witchcraft and addiction to sin for so long. I was on the brink of suicide until the Holy Spirit stepped in (the night of Halloween of all nights). Jesus is real and He is coming back soon. I am so happy He saved me this year and I pray for others that they will come to know Him this year and seek after a real and lasting relationship with Him. May the Lord continue to use you and your platform to win souls for His kingdom. God bless you!

This year I have learned that interests and career paths change and that is ok. Change is inevitable so embrace it and learn all the lessons that come with it.
I learned I like to be in control after having a newborn I realize even more, and have started surrendering to God my anxiety for feeling I have no control of a situation.

This year God has definitely allowed me to see so much about myself. I learned that im very impatient and that I seek attention from others to fill certain voids within myself. I've always wanted to feel wanted and loved by the people I care about at every given moment and when it seemed I didn't have their attention ALL the time I would feel so down and unmotivated. God allowed me to see that I lack self-love and motivation within myself... I let others dictate the way I feel and how I think and that isn't ok in the slightest. God has shown me just how faithful he is even when im faithless and that has changed my view on alot of things. One piece of advice that I'd like to give is to never doubt God even when it seems all has failed. Get back in his word and refresh your mind with his promises and declarations. This is something im just now truly tapping into and trust me when I say it's not easy, but it brings God's perfect peace into you heart ❤️
This year, I have learnt that depending on God completely yields the best! God hears our prayers and does exactly what He promises. I learn to be patient too because His timing is the best❤️

Really helpful thanks! So many times god has had to send me warning signs about decisions I’m about to make such a starting a job, and I’ve found that I often regret alot of decisions I have made. This has made me realise that I need to consult God before I make decisions
I’ve learned that we have to become continuously. Practice doesn’t make perfection. We are tempted everyday with our old habits and patterns even though we have overcame them or think we have.
And it’s okay not to be strong. He wants us to cry out to him. We can be weak.

In 2022, and some of 2021 I have found myself rushing into a now beautiful relationship but my decision lead me into a waiting season. It has taught me to be patient and get to know what something is before I make a decision based on emotion.

In 2022, I connected with God and myself on a deeper level than ever before. I think the intimacy has led me to be more honest, disciplined, and courageous. And I will keep applying what I’ve learned.
This year, I've learned that God isn't like my earthly father. I don't have to convince Him that i am worthy of love. I also learned that He is a God of processes. There are things that I wanted God to take me out of instead of walking me through. I realized that when I walk through things with Him..1. I come out victorious 2. It's less painful than me trying to do it myself and 3. He heals something that I didn't know I needed healing from.
I learned that is incredibly Patient ! No matter where I drifted there was always a tug at my heart to get back in alignment. When I first got saved everyone kept calling me a “babe” in the faith and at the time it was so irritating. But looking back it was so true, I was prideful at times very spiritually naive and despite all the times of me being irritated he reminded me that He was there.
I am currently in a isolation season that I really did understand until I did the actual foot work to get it.
Just before watching this video, the Holy Spirit made me realize the importance of not pursuing Him only for the material but the Spiritual things as well. He just created in me this urge and desire to want to know and experience Him on a Spiritual level. So, going into 2023, if the Lord permits me, I will be using this method to set my goals.
