  • A B-side that Dave hasn't reacted to yet!
Funk and sophisticated, according to Dave.

Probably my favorite B-Side of theirs. Why this wasn't on that album is beyond me.

The height of Jamiroquai right here; it went down hill after this album. 😔
    Rhythm Section:
    Toby Smith (RIP)
    Stuart Zender
    Simon Katz
    Derrick McKenzie
Btw, Jay had nothing to do with that track… took credit for it though. Hence the downfall as a result of the in fighting between Zender & Kay.
More to the story; I’ll save that for another post.

This is something I never would have listened to before hearing it your channel. I really dug this - great groove to it. Makes me appreciate the great musicians that are out there.
Here’s one from one of my favorite bands - Armored Saint. The song is off their 1991 album, but this live performance is from just a couple years ago. They still put out new music too. Great playing and singing all the way around. The Truth Always Hurts. ruclips.net/video/LynF6A3e2VE/видео.htmlsi=bh-WvN7I7sD10LqF. Thanks guys.

Wow! I forgot about this tune surprisingly it’s an underrated funky jam! I see Dave is curious about “Do You Know Where Coming From?” 😂 can’t wait for his reaction when he finally gets to hear it. It’s one of my all time favorites from Jamiroquai!! One other song that I feel like not enough people talk about that introduced to me to Jamiroquai is the song they did with Guru from Gangstarr off his Jazzmatazz album where I think Dave would really appreciate the fusion of hip-hop and jazz from Guru and Jamiroquai that introduced me to jazz, funk and soul as a hardcore hip hop head.

Nice. I’ve got nothing to back it up, but you can imagine JK in the studio scatting the melody and the band interpreting the scatting into the track. Hence his name being credited with writing the song
This instrumental was performed during their 1995 tour. It’s uploaded as ‘Mr Boogie’ classic Jamiroquai jam with JK directing the band, very James Brown like ruclips.net/video/NvjgxeHaLzc/видео.htmlsi=Os6jDl1y_LhrKYMD
