This is truly a great help and I was able to get the project done, however you should also mention and upsell the Ellipse Operator Gasket
Product Code: 39-564...this was a life saver when closing out any light from entering the area between the new operator and the filed down frame, inside looking out. You can see it in the video towards the end the little sliver of light. The gasket absolutely covers all of that. No more light.

Yup. At 2:45 and 3:16 you can see the light gap. Thank you for mentioning that. I was sure to buy the gasket that they do sell. I'm installing the operator today which I"m sure will go well due to this great video. It's the best installation video I've seen for this discontinued model.

in your opinion is the stud bracket part number 39-514 really necessary or can i get buy with reusing the old ones? is the stud diameter different?

@@StreetMachine18 For me the bracket was so easy to replace and so cheap to buy. Swisco has good replacement videos and they state all the part numbers needed. I just also bought the thin gasket they sell but didn’t mention it in their video.
