New light on Scandinavian art

At the end of the 19th century, Northern European artists rebelled against the conservative art world that insisted only on history and genre paintings and left for France. Under the influence of naturalism and impressionism, they painted daily life and labor scenes, naturally forming a unique Northern European painting style.
