No one had ever offered so many elements on a stage before this show in 1989. In one of the few interviews, Mylene said that she took this first step, to the first live performance in order to dispel the rumors that she was "just a virtual person, an invention of producers and arrangers." Before this show, no one had seen her performances on stage, only video clips. She is just a hard worker and a great artist, no one interacts with the public like she does, she loves the public like public her. To present days, only live performance, she isn't shy crying or laughing on stage, she can stumble in a song due to the complexity of the lyrics and the audience will never boo her. This isnt an easy work for many years, the work of an artist.

Because she had never sung live prior to that concert/tour, people thought she was incapable of singing well, people thought she'd be lipsynching during the tour. So it was a pleasant surprise to hear her sing so well live. The costumes were made by the legendary French fashion designer Thierry Mugler who just passed away last week, he also made costumes for George Michael's 'Too Funky' music video, just to name one.
