Wow what a great car. Fun to drive, great styling, beautifully built and Lexus reliability. I would have one of these over any German rival due superior service, build and reliability Great review thanks.
I have a 2016 RC 350 Rear wheel drive F sport with the 4 wheel steering and limited slip diff and it is just a wonderful car. I bought it almost 7 years ago as a low km demo model. It has an Invidia Quad exhaust and GSF leather shifter with RCF aluminium shift paddle. I also installed the RCF seat rear console with the roller door and cup holders as it fits perfectly. I installed Apple car play and Android auto that uses the factory track pad and also blue LED lighted Lexus scuff plates and Blue LED interior lighting and reversing lights. It also has the darkest legally allowed here in Oz black tinted windows Best car I have ever owned and I will never part with it. I couldn’t recommend these cars high enough for trouble free driving. It also has the the Toyota racing braced door hinges which help force the doors tighter when going around corners to reduce flex.
Are you sure about the stingy 3 year warranty? If you have your Lexus dealer maintained I believe the full warranty renews yearly for up to 10 years or 100K miles. Also, by the same token, the hybrid traction battery is warrantied for up 15 years, I believe.
I own the RCF (2016, CF/TVD). Though, it is 70 percent different than the other RC models, it shares the basic architecture and platform as the other RC. Amazing car for the last 7+ years and has been a blast. Does everything extremely well. Will run fast laps around the race track all day without complaining or overheating or failing while sounding great and also a good luxury street car with big enough back seats to to fit two baby seats.
It’s even better with the 3.5 V6 engine! Why the UK doesn’t this engine is ridiculous, the German options offer V6 engines…UK Lexus is missing out here!
Thank you for review. Very handy. I want to swap my C30 R-Design 2012 2.0 petrol (100k milage) next year for this car, but is very rare in UK (under 70k milage, 2.0t variant).
I want to get something like this car, and don't want to pay a premium like you do on Audi, BMW and Mercedes. One thing, is this car good on fuel? I have to travel 1hr 20 for work and don't know if this is suitable.
What an immature comment, I think that’s the difference with Lexus owners. Sheeple buy German because everyone does, whereas Lexus owners use their heads and don’t follow the crowd.
Have had mine for 5 years now and love it.Still take a look back at it after parking
My favourite car of the past decade. Extraordinary beautiful and surprisingly practical.
I own the RC 300h (white). A superb GT.

Agree 100%
I have the 2017 model and I love it! The door panel ambient lighting is subtle and nice. I’m surprised they stopped that for future RC models.
As a Forty year fan of Toyota and Lexus a brilliant review for a Lexus model I have always wanted.
Beautiful car and great review as always.
Despite my other comments, thank you for a pretty comprehensive overview of this great car.

Great review as always. Only ever owned various Lexus in the last 20 years, never had one problem 👌

No, the hybrid version has an E-CVT transmission. Not belt driven - it's not a conventional CVT. Please do your research!
