I’d always attributed this song to Marty Robbin’s, had no idea that it was written by Lightfoot. Thanks for educating me. Songwriters never get the proper credit. Your rendition is excellent as always. Enjoyed hearing it.

Thanks Robert! That was a big song for Lightfoot from his first album which was released in 1966. Marty Robbins recorded it in 1965, before Lightfoot’s album was released and took it to #1 on the country charts.
