Drop a thumbs up for Si Finds for this epic adventure! Part 2 Night Mudlarking coming soon ;) We’re travelling all over the UK searching for lost treasure so more adventures coming 😃🤙 Do you guys wanna see some travel vlogs as well?
Love Si’s videos … this was a treat !!!! Everything going on .. we need more of that .. Oh, and it’s not a pipe tube? It’s a bowl 😁👍🏼. .. Si will educate you man 😃
Oh, my...God! I never thought I'd see Si as the bashful type, but he seems so next to you! *chuckle* Very nice to see you together. Heartwarming, actually! Hope you two had a nice drink at the pub together. Pig's ears?!
Good evening I have been watching your videos and started magnet fishing today it's awesome I found a plastic bag with 90 silver dollars in it muddy and smells. It was incredible now I have to learn to clean them. I am Long island New York. Tks u rock.J.C. T
It warmed my heart when I saw you mudlarking with Si. He is such a lovely guy just like you Lee. I'm really happy you are in the UK. Great to see Si magnet fishing xx
G'day from Death Valley California, what a treat, My 4 favorite mud grubbers, Nicola, Northern Mudlarks, Si, & now Aussie Bondi the magnetman, don't get any better than this, You muck lucky folks are so fortunate to have so many thousands of years of history washing down rivers & under your feet & all over your islands. i enjoy everything from fossils to megaliths, ancient prehistoric stone tools to beach glass, neolithic, mesolithic. iron age, roman, celt, pict, saxon & all those cool bits and pieces up into victorian and beyond, our history in the western US only goes back 175 years ay best forgold rush fever settlers coming west from the east coast and 400 years for Spanish remains..Though Native American artifacts go back 15k years or more i enjoy finding the flint tools, In these videos i watch i always see prehistoric flint tools my eyes are trained for such shapes, while you folks find bottles beads & other cool finds,,Like Bondi i noticed all the different brick types and shapes along the Thames, i would likely be building an oddball brick and bottle house with all those finds,,also all the old nails and spikes and fasteners from old wooden ships catches my eyes, i would be carrying a 50 pound sack of old ship hardware i see every time i strolled that foreshore.. when i was a kid (65 years ago) we bought some heavy magnets with very strong pull from military surplus dealer we would hit the piers jetty;s and wharfs on the Southern California coast to fish as well as drag the magnets around the bottom along the pier and pull up full tackle boxes, lures, fishing poles, reels, & filet knives of all kinds, as well as a few pistols which we turned in to the cops. Being a kid needing spending money we pretty much had our own tackle shop gig & set up on the pier at our fishing spot, selling fishing equipment and tackle that wasn't crusty or rusty yet. One time we hooked up with a huge anchor so big the magnet would not let go, so we and 3 grown men dove into the water to fetch the Anchor..ended up being a huge old Spanish anchor about 300-400 tears old, we donated it to local museum.. by the time we were teenagers magnet fishing became popular and then was banned from the piers and wharves, so we started skin diving/ snorkling to retrieve the stuff..great fun,,would love to lark the foreshore on Thames.
How lucky can a visitor get having Simon as their Thames tour guide! It's like going to the moon and being greeted by Neil Armstrong with a big, "May I show you around?"
Sci and Nicola White are my favorite Mudlarkers. I love that you met up with Sci and had a chance for adventure. This was such a great video . Greetings from Georgia in the USA 🇺🇸 🥰💕
So glad I got to visit the Thames once. I didn't do much exploring, but visited a pub in Reading and saw some swans. I love your magnet fishing adventures.
Yes! Amazing combo! I read last time the comment of someone telling you to team up with Si Fi!!! I thought, yes, that would be great. And you had it all planned anyway haha. Great video mate! All I love apart magnet fishing in Amsterdam is mudlarking in Thames!!! I’m loving you Britain series!!!! Can’t wait for more :)
So glad to see you team up with Si. Love watching you both. With my British half of history and my Aussie side.( Mum from London and me at the Gold Coast..) Please do some more next time with Si. I always like it when he shows his pets at cleanup time….and you, Leigh….always with that cheeky laugh, and all those bikes you find!
Next level!!! 👍🏼😆 So much luck in the muck! (Now you need to go to a bottle dump and on the hovercraft.) 💜 The perfect collab - when is Si going to Amsterdam??? Magnet fishing AND diving! He'd fit right in with Hannie & Remon. 😁
Well that video is a big thumbs up from me! It's always baffled me why someone with a huge electro magnet on a boat hasn't come along and fished all the metal out. The world is crying out for steel, bronze & brass and its right there in our rivers and canals!
Love the sound of the magnet being swept on the shore and all the click, clicks and the finds being attached to the magnet. Great field trip thanks for the share.
Oh.My.Goodness! Two of my FAVORITE fellow treasure hunters together in a vlog! I've followed both of y'all for quite a while now and it was such a real treat to see both of y'all together! Would have loved to been along on that adventure! What a blast! I have dreamed of mudlarking and bottle dump digging with Si (and Nicola too!) and to magnet fish and go scuba detecting with Lee! Most awesome mates! Cheers from Mississippi USA! Come visit me and we'll go "creeking" for treasures here! Si...you may find 2000 year old Roman pottery, but how about something 75 million years old? How 'bout it, eh? Happy hunting and Rock on dudes! 💖Gem'a Jen
I have been watching both of you for about the same amount of time, so I was excited to see you together! You are a couple of really special people as you bring such wonder and joy to what you have turned what was hobbies into informative and fun channels! Love you both from the Columbia River Gorge Oregon! K.
Loved seeing the magnet grasp all the metal so quickly. I was hoping Si was going to give you the button. Oh well! I know you had so much fun. I enjoyed watching!! You and Nicky have a fantastic trip and keep the adventures coming!! Be safe!! ❤️🙏😎
Wonderful collaboration!! And definitely beginner's luck for you, Leigh. :D I thoroughly enjoyed the video, and I'm looking forward to the next installment of your U.K. adventures. Take care & stay safe.
I can't believe all those animal bones in there. Itcwas a savage place back in the old days when people would gather around for a hanging. Here in the US too. Great video. Love to watch you find treasure. Yoooooo
WOW!!! What a awesome treat this video is, Bondi & Si treasure detecting- mud-magnet-trowel larking on The Thames!!! Two of my favorites from across the pond joining forces to concur the tide line for all the treasures it holds!! 💎💱🗝⚔🛒💜💜💜💜🤙🤙🤙🤙 Thank you so much for sharing!!!
Lee, did you meet up with " Aussie mudlarking " he lives in London. & northern mudlarking " in the Scottish boarders over the boarder from Cumbria England into the Scottish boarders.
Since Simon has uploaded yet, I think I will stay. If the UK ever needed money, They could reclaim all the metal by dragging a big magnet, like they use in junkyards Load into barges and take it to the smelter! I would love that job!!
Oh, this should be good, two for one. The coin was a good start. The button was lovely. Magnet fishing, metal detecting, and scrapping the foreshore with not one, but two of the best. What a great combination 👍.
This was dream come true that you two would meet up. Great to see you supporting each other. Si you looked a little concerned at the noisey Australian!
Glad to see you guys got together. BTW, Si calls dive fins "flippers" as well. I let him know how that makes us Veteran, Professional Divers cringe when we hear it. He basically told me to calm down in my "old age"😝 Great fun. You definitely could not have found a better mentor re: mudlarking than Simon.
Great to see you hanging out with Simon! And I have always heard about "Loud Americans" (I'm in the US) -- obnoxious tourists who don't care about anything but themselves -- but I have not heard of "Loud Australians" until now -- but I must say that your "loudness" is great! It's out of excitement and joy -- those are always good things!!! Cheers!!!
Drop a thumbs up for Si Finds for this epic adventure! Part 2 Night Mudlarking coming soon ;) We’re travelling all over the UK searching for lost treasure so more adventures coming 😃🤙 Do you guys wanna see some travel vlogs as well?
