Appreciate you so much. I too, have parents from Grenada. Got my passport last year and I'm gradually making that move to make Grenada home base. Much gratitude, you help me see that it's possible and I can do it!!!!!
Hi Zoe, you are absolutely right about getting certain things done urgently. You get to the point where you don't stress for a second if something is not done. You immediately go to your backup plan, and continue chilling 😊. I love the different backdrops in your video. Well done.
Love it! This is exactly why we’re taking the approach of visiting and staying for 4-6 weeks and do as you say, reconnaissance work. Awesome as always Zoe.
I am on day 1 of week 2 here after emigrating to be with my husband, who has been here since February. It is a massive adjustment after living in the UK. Hoping to get my 2 boys (I have 5 but the 2 youngest came withme) into school, so that they can make some friends and start to build a life here. Thank you for your insight. I am glad to know I am not the only person to strugggle at first, and you are so right about gratitude.
I enjoyed watching this vlog Zoe. The different backdrops were superb and interesting. I feel you're growing so much more and accepting your decision as a Grenadian exile for all its few faults and many more positive wonderful benefits for body and mind. You are absolutely better off there! I had to deal with some crazy micro aggression yesterday at the doctors surgery and from a young woman. I said to my daughter if i was in a black country i might get the uncooperative non customer service, but it wouldn't be based on my skin colour. That is what I'm looking forward to not having to contend with. It's so exhausting...these people just don't learn. So you soak up Grenada with all it's snail pace time structure, we need to slow down from the Western style of living. It will improve when its ready, you've found your solution to outsource what you need to be done for your sanity and work schedule. I think you're amazing!! Btw do you twist/lock your hair yourself? It really suits you. Will look fab as it grows longer too.
Ann-Marie I'm so sorry to hear of your experience with your doctor. How draining! It's definitely a relief to be away from all of that 😩. Despite how it may sometimes come across in the videos, I LOVE being in Grenada. But at times the process of growth is very intense and I don't hold back on sharing that as it's an experience many "repats" /foreigners experience abroad and I want to be transparent about my journey 😊 Here's hoping you make it back here soon 🤞🏾

Thanks Andrew. Yes, options are a must 😄!!
As always, love the scenery - Happy Grenada-versary!
Thank you 😊🙏🏾
It takes 3 years approximately to adjust to any place generally. You have
done well, with the kids and all. Proud 👏 of you.
Thank you 😊
Hi Zoe, really love how you have adjusted, congrats! We are each so different, you do have the right to be comfortable with your choices.

Hi Zoe, do you live in Madeys? I am in the UK thinking of moving to La fortune. Close to the bridge.
Ah small world, yes I have a house in Madeys but I don't live there full time as yet. How soon are you thinking of moving?
Now you’ve moved to st Patrick’s are you home schooling your kids. Very brave making the move with your kids
Hahaha nope sadly I'm still in St George's, just making the time to spend more time in country for my sanity's sake 😄
Definitely criminal I must agree lol 😂
Oops, already forgot what I said was criminal 🙈
@@ExodusCollective months since you’d been to the sea 😂
@@BrixtonBeat Ah yes. Thanks for reminding me. It's very much inexcusable! 😄
Hi. Are you able to help persons find affordable accommodation?
Did you hit all those spots in the same day, but how 😃?!
Grenada is small / I drive fast 😁
Never been to that fall
It's gorgeous! We should go - it's on the way to Grenville near the steep hill with all the painted adverts
