Are you using the amp in a corner? Did you try playing in another room/place. I did not notice such a problem. Anyway I think that the problem depends on the environment.

Hello Larry! Great demo and playing, congratulations! I purchased a new vox ac30 H2 and love its tone except for the incredible boominess in the low notes. It happens with almost any guitar with the bass knob of the amp at minimum level (always set 1 to 2). I have tried moving the amp, raising it up from the floor and even opening the rear, but it is still too boomy. Tubes have been checked to be OK, and no other issues seem to be present anywhere. Did you notice this amp is specially bassy/boomy as well? Any comment on this would be much appreciated. Many thanks and greetings from Barcelona! :+)

Irisat I think alot of people don't realize how much low end an ac30 is capable of they are known for their chimey jangly cleans and compressed overdrive sounds but they can be very warm and bassy sounding as well
When I got my ac30 it took me awhile to adjust to the tonal spectrum vox amps have always had a full range i was a fender guy before I discovered the awesomeness of vox amps and there is a huge difference fender amps don't have that kind of range and that took me some time for my ears to adjust
Anyways hope you are enjoying your vox
      Cheers
