literally the reason that i don't paint is bc i can't figure out how to make art that looks like your CRAPPY art. bc i hate polished art that looks like a photograph. that's a lie i don't hate perfect looking art i can appreciate it in its own right. but my dream style is your "crappy" art and i have always been so sad that i can't figure out how to make my art look like garbage.
but then i looked at my most recent paintings. and i realized. i CAN paint like shit. i CAN make absolutely atrocious paintings. i feel better now. thank you for helping me realize that i have in fact managed to master an ugly art style. i wonder if i can still do it, i haven't painted in a long time.
i'm sure it just gets worse and worse without practice. i wanna paint now but it's bed time :(
