Sir my brother 73 years old has done the TNR surger two months ago v properly followed all prescribed exercises after surgery he is feeling much better but issue is now the regular pain only painkiller give some relief from pain plz advise

Yes ! There is a risk of slow healing and infection, but your operating surgeon can easily take care of it. Make sure to get it done at a big setup. Also it depends on severity of Diabetes.

Sir, I had TKR in 2007, 30th April. Had a nice time after TKR, but now for the last 6-7 months having stiffness with pain in both the knees. Not able to walk n stand for 20-25 min. Do i need a check up or re- surgery. Afraid 😢😢pl do suggest something.
No second surgery please. Get yourself examined by a competent and senior physio. With proper exercise you shall be fine.

Thank you,Doctor,for throwing light on the different aspects of TKR.I am 50 years old and going for TKR in the coming month as I have a tri- compartmental knee damage. Along with the usual complications like inability to stand for 2 minutes,climbing up and down the stairs,I am getting continuous pain in my legs,especially from below the knee upto my ankle.The pain never leaves me.I am unable to understand whether it is muscle pain or pain in my bones.No amount of pain killer helps reduce the pain.I want to know if the excruciating pain is related to osteoarthritis or anything else.Should I go for some test that may determine the cause of my pain? I am feeling very miserable.Please suggest some remedies.Thank you.
