I knew this was gonna be one of the best episodes of Star Wars because the directors (The Daniels) are the same geniuses who made Everything Everywhere All At Once. I didn’t expect to love it THIS FREAKING MUCH! These men need to be given a Star Wars movie with their choice of plot and setting, and give them a blank check.

Ironically, I find it really interesting that Jude Law is acting the way he is. So far he’s being written very nonchalant about everything happening and Jude I think it’s doing an amazing job acting out that nonchalant behavior. He is definitely somebody as opposed to being a nobody as he referred to himself as in the last. He is looking for something and yet, I’m surprised the kids haven’t pressured him about that.

I think Sm33 is the supervisor. I also think he went to the other 8 of the 9 worlds and destroyed the coordinates to At Attin on all of them. I could also be convinced that Sm33 killed his former captain
I don't think the tribes built those giant guns, they seem to be part of the original build. I bet there ARE guns like that hidden on the top of the school on At-Attin.
John's reactions are my favorite. Tara had the heart, but John has the widest range of knowledge of things. I love all the references from books to old films. Unlike some of the other guys, he seems like he actually went to school.
That gun mount is on top of the school. If these planets are all similar then At Attin’s school has a giant canon on top of it as well. Bet it’ll be used to defend At Attin from pirate invasion.
@@alexp601well yeah bc they still have their utopia, if all planets are meant to be similar down to the houses n tower, then yeah the turrets should be the same as well at atkrin is at war bc of whatever happened but before that they were also a utopia planet, the turrets came out of the ground so obviously it was built there when it was still a utopia planet, just bc your not in war doesn't mean you don't have or need defenses
For Crimson Jack, what about the actor that played Challenger, on The Lost World? He is a good actor, with the right look, who is probably even the correct age, that is if the Pirate took over as supervisor on At Atin. Oh that's my other theory, that the pirate captain took over as supervisor on At Atin.
I kinda disagree. I didnt see it as a filler. I think the episode just added but still continued the main storyline well. Also giving more character building for Fern and Neel mostly. The mystery is constantly evolving, and I like that. We dont know where it's going. Not like in the acolyte when we knew who the master was immediately lol. Why were the other clone planets abandoned except for one? What is so special about it? And a big plus is seeing Neel be the most adorable kid in the universe lol. It’s a side trip, but not empty: letting the tragedy of pointless war take the stage was a risky swing I really appreciated, but Fern could have ordered 33 for the info anytime before even arriving here, and had plenty of hints she could do that
@hellfish2309 She's a child lol. I can forgive a kid not thinking ahead that maybe a pirate who wanted the treasure for himself, murdered his whole crew and forced his droid to forget the coordinates to their planet. @@bt3519 ehhh she’s ordered 33 against directive at least (2) time before, and the droid was aboard a ship that landed on At Attin; she’s had plenty of time to at least suspect it had some information, but never tried ordering it to comply? doesn’t make THIS episode filler, but definitely that empty last episode w/ the expensive 🎥 owl Plus, Old Republic credits have not foreseeable value to warring factions trapped on a secluded planet
@@hellfish2309 Credits most definitely do have value lol. Hayna's father (the Troik general) said they only contact off-worlders when trading hides for munitions. You can see some of their troops have Imperial mudtrooper helmets and gear. They have a tank, and, Eopies which we've seen on planets like Tatooine. All of these things have most likely been traded for. Seeing as how the earlier pirates and Vane reacted to the 50 year old credits makes it clear that they have a lot of value.
You know, after seeing this episode, I wonder if these "At Worlds" were some kind of Social Experiment conducted decades ago by some now defunct galactic government higher-ups kind of like the Vaults from the Fallout franchise?
I'm getting real Fallout vibes from these lost planets...each has a "supervisor" tower, so far one lives in unchecked peace and wealth and one lives in a clan styled War-torn civilisation, feels like a multi-planet society experiment to me.
I'm trying to figure out where they could go from here and it seems like they'd still have to go to one of those other planets and see if their Supervisor's Office has completed coordinates. Unless when they try turning SM-33 back on he admits to having done the same thing to the others as well. But he should have the location somewhere in his circuits unless old captain really did a number on him and made sure the location was wiped. He already has a bit but I figure that Crimson Jack will have to be the hero one more time to have his full turnaround. I figure that'd probably come somewhere around the end of the season though. (The treasure is the friends we made along the way)
First of all I love anytime we get French people in SW and Secondly I like that the show is being semi realistic in showing these kids don’t know what they are doing, would’ve for sure been killed on their own, are scared and actually need the help of the only adult with them. I’m glad these kids aren’t super heroes
As others have said, if the captain went through the trouble of killing all of his crew and wiping the data from Achran's logs, there's no reason to suspect that he didn't go to all the other "At" planets and do the same exact thing. I doubt the guy was that stupid lol.
I could be wrong but the armour in this episode reminds me A LOT of the imperial army soldiers from Solo. I think the empire found this planet and that why it descended into war
Hope yall didn’t ditch the show or something (I know it was the holidays) but it really kicked into another gear with episode 5. 6 and 7 were also good.
I agree with most of your comments. I think the one thing that I did not like about this episode is the unrealized build up in the middle. They started to build up tension with the warrior clan sending the kids into battle. They really could’ve made it more nail biting, (I cite the anticipation and fear of Éowyn and Merry, steeling for battle on the Pelennor Fields in Return of the King ) and maybe had some action… but it fizzled into… meh. Could’ve spent more time with Jod and the other warring clan, heighten the stakes. So many missed opportunities. Yet I did like the tower scene, and the character development of Neel and Fern.
The Daniels just know how to get it done! I became a fan of their work after I saw my personal favorite movie of all time "Everything Everywhere All At Once" which, of course, they directed, and I've been following their careers closely ever since. It's just incredible to see them direct an episode of a Star Wars show so perfectly! This was incredible, and the vibes were on point. I would love to see them work on any big franchise they can get their hands on, but for the here and now, I would love for them to return to direct another episode of a Star Wars show. Excellent work and excellent episode all around!
Loved it, but this episode felt like “kid’s show” instead of “family friendly.” Which is fine, but it changes my expectations. Jude Law feels so natural in the Star Wars universe. Neel is a fantastic character.
Ok, hear me out. Jod's parents were the original Captain, and SM 33 knew it, and Jod was left behind as a child so they could hunt down lost riches, and it's all comingbfull circle
Could this have been some grand experiment by the Old Republic to create a perfect society and the planets other than At Attin all destroyed themselves or turned to infighting and At Attin was the only one to “succeed”?
@DarkandBroody Either droid or a species that lives a long time. I just said droid because I was already thinking from previous episodes the 'Supervisor' may be a droid (or maybe a droid/human hybrid/cyborg type like General Grievous). My guess is that they arrived on At Attin a long time ago on the pirate ship, the captain took over the planet but betrayed the crew and hid the evidence.
Definitely not a weak episode, but it ended at a forced cliffhanger. This episode needed to be longer. I get the feeling that despite knowing they had a show that was really good, but couldn't be sure how it would be received so hedges their bets. I would expect season 2 to be exploited and expanded and become whatever Stranger Things has become.
It was not a weak episode. It gave more questions to the mystery about at attin. Who destroyed the coordinates and why? What is up with the duplicate planets. Also, one word is the adorable NEIL. They are still on the planet, so the next episode will still be there for more.
I have to admit, Neel was my least favourite of the group in the 1st couple of episodes. I thought Ortolan was an odd species choice, not the most expressive of faces. Neel stole the show in this episode!
Ep 1 ended with the crew leaving At Attin Ep 2 ended with the crew still in prisoned in Port Borgo Ep 3 picked up on Port Borgo and ended with the crew leaving Kim’s Ep 4 the crew did not leave the planet So I hope we get something more from this planet next ep
Yes, this was the weakest episode was of show so far, I dont think its nothing to do with the story but all to do with the runtime. I just think if we got at least another 10-15 minutes, the episode could have breathed a bit. It started so well but ended so quickly. I still liked the episode beacause of Neel but yeah it was very rushed.
Wimbledon hasn't faced any consequences, he still sees this as one big adventure but his time will come when his actions make him realise his the problem
@@JoshV_TX I'm really thinking it was actually his mum that was the captain and the treasure is actually Wim! The reason she went to all those lengths to protect him
My own guess is that the supervisor and SM-33's old captain are the same person. He destroyed these other planets, living it up on the kid's home world. I do like the moment with Fern and her growing as a leader.

They were still on the planet at the end of the episode whos to say it won’t be a major part of the next one?
Filler episode if there ever was one lol still fun tho.
This episode made me a Neel fan.
Theory: SM-33's old captain is a droid and they're the At Attin 'Supervisor'.
What gives you the impression that the captain is a droid?
What cliffhanger? Unless you think Neel's health is in actual doubt?
You guys should react to the wheel of time
It was not a weak episode. It gave more questions to the mystery about at attin. Who destroyed the coordinates and why? What is up with the duplicate planets. Also, one word is the adorable NEIL. They are still on the planet, so the next episode will still be there for more.
Great episode mon amour.
Having the At planet full of French giving Revolutionaries is spot on.
Robots don’t know grammar, I think SM 33 was supposed to say I can’t say, I remember At Attin ?
Looks like a droid tank.
I have to admit, Neel was my least favourite of the group in the 1st couple of episodes. I thought Ortolan was an odd species choice, not the most expressive of faces.
Neel stole the show in this episode!
SM33 was mean to Neel. He needs a talking to.
On vous aime aussi 😆🫶🏻
Merci!!
Ep 1 ended with the crew leaving At Attin
Ep 2 ended with the crew still in prisoned in Port Borgo
Ep 3 picked up on Port Borgo and ended with the crew leaving Kim’s
Ep 4 the crew did not leave the planet
So I hope we get something more from this planet next ep
Maybe not the best idea to promote gambling ..
Neel should be the main character. Wim is annoying (I guess that’s the point but still)
Wimbledon hasn't faced any consequences, he still sees this as one big adventure but his time will come when his actions make him realise his the problem
@ he’s gonna realize his dad is evil
@@JoshV_TX I'm really thinking it was actually his mum that was the captain and the treasure is actually Wim! The reason she went to all those lengths to protect him
Whim's dad is SM33's Captain
Or the Supervisor?
funny but that ship is olllld
@@michaelrodgerthe dad isnt exactly young either
@@stephenmoney4722 he's skeletons and old pirate stuff old?
@@MNToThatbut sm33 referred to his captain as “he”
My own guess is that the supervisor and SM-33's old captain are the same person. He destroyed these other planets, living it up on the kid's home world.
I do like the moment with Fern and her growing as a leader.
yall thought this was the most weak? damn...
I would agree this was the weakest episode, but even saying that I loved that they didn't stay there to long.
"You can be my sister and my girlfriend!"
EWWW, NOOOOO. 🤮
Maybe his from Alabama
Can’t lie i really didn’t like this episode lmao
