There are plenty of good singers in all over the world which can be fantastic.But, only one makes the difference and is unique.Yes, Angelina Jordan .No doubt about it.IMHO
First I thought she was simply talented, then I thought maybe she's just a cute child, then I realised that she's waayyyy ahead of her time, then I thought she had the most beautiful voice on earth!, then I started to believe that she was an actual angel since she cared so much for poor children,… And now I don’t know what to think anymore, my mind is blown.
Haha I just thank God that I'm alive at the same time as her. The adoration I have for her can't be measured. The greatest singer/performer I've ever heard. Listening to her is an experience.

It is not possible to describe Angelina's greatness in a few words. That her voice is full of character and exceptionally beautiful is obvious. What makes her, in my opinion, in a class of her own, is her amazing ability to convey emotions and moods. Her authenticity! Her ingenious ability to tell the story that lies in the lyrics, so that most people struggle to hold back tears. Not out of sentimentality, but because it seems real and authentic. For a long time, I thought there was something wrong with me until I discovered that many people have the same reactions. We are so incredibly lucky to follow the development of this beautiful, creative, and incredibly talented girl on her way to fame. Fortunately, she has a family that gives her protection and security. Sorry, it got a little long, but if you want to say something more than amazing or fantastic, there's no way around it. Still, this is considered well-meaning, but only a small part of the Angelina Jordan phenomenon. The work you reactors do for Angelina can not be overestimated. You greatly contribute to making Angelina famous. Thank you!

I agree with your comment that it's difficult to watch a child sing like this, and not feel it is being sung by a grown adult. Here we have a girl that still hasn't reached her 11th birthday, singing a song with such feeling and emotion that we can feel the pain she went through during this ordeal, yet we have to keep trying to convince our brain that she didn't experience it. Then again, she does this with almost every song she sings. I would love to have a session where people have headphones on and listen to her singing at different ages, and told to describe the person they heard. I'd be willing to bet none of them would come within 5 years of her true age.

The problem with many commenters to Angelina is some seem reluctant to admit how unbelievably amazing she really is. Angelina is so good at 10 years old it is scary to admit it, and I do not mean you.

Angelina was 10, when she sang this cover. The song was not released because of the lyrics. But in 2018, some fans felt it was too good to stay buried and put it to a background of photos, and videos from other songs and leaked it.
This is what I managed to find out. If I’m wrong the other subscribers will let you know.
Angelina recorded this vocal masterpiece one week before her 11th birthday. This awesome song was written by Brandon Lowry (aka Baby Fuzz) along with a couple others. The debate among the angels is why this performance was never officially released. Somehow the demo was "Leaked" and was taken down from RUclips only to be posted again in 2018. Thankfully, everyone involved is now ok with it being on RUclips for the world to cherish. The world was not ready for an 11 year old to have a huge hit.

I would argue in addition, that having a huge hit at that age, with all the merciless publicity that it would have brought, could easily have overwhelmed her and her entire family to their detriment, as it has with other child stars. Would you ever believe a 10 years girl singing this song? There are a number of theories to this performance. I give up in figuring out,. I just want to sit back and enjoy this absolutely beautiful song performed by this young person.

This was recorded when Angie was 10 almost 11 when this was recorded (it was used as a demo. Her mom didn't like a line in it, so it was never released as a single) This song is by Brandon Lowry better known as Sterling Fox & aka Baby Fuzz & co-writers Aksel Carlson, Ronny Janssen, and Frida Amundsen.
Baby fuzz did this during a music workshop back in 2016 in Norway. Angie did the demo for it & it was leaked 2 years later. He wont change the lyrics to the song or let others do so. He released it as an original in
around Dec of 2018 a month after it was leaked in Nov 2018 from when Angie recorded this in late Dec 2016. When so many listen to this & Baby Fuzz's version, they still all think this should be her's for it sound much better & convey's the story better
The general story is that this was never released because of the suicide reference (“put my head under water”, “even if I drown, I got to hold it down”). Angelina’s family did not want it released, but it’s a favorite of hard core Angelina fans. I understand your point about not continually making an issue of her age, but hold on-she’s ten years old leading us vocally and emotionally through this dark journey like an adult who’s lived it. The maturity of the phrasing and the power of the delivery is stunning. Many of us fans would love to hear her do this one now. She might as well because she killed it for anyone else five years ago.

Hi Coder. You're absolutely right about Angelina's voice and the ending of this song. At this age, Angelina had no real experience in belting and she seems to bring it back before letting it go actually exposing her age. By the time she reached twelve, Angelina pretty much had put that all behind her with a renewed confidence. "Here Comes The Sun" was the turning point. This song is in my Top Five of all time with Angelia and that tells you no matter how young she is, she's still better than most. Cheers!

This is my favorite. It was sent to Angelina by a writer for her to do a demo. She put her magic to it with her soul. I believe her mother say because it dealt with suicide she did not want it released. It's a shame. It could be a Bond song.

What has always amazed me about this song is that her arrangement is essentially the song’s debut. The writer of this song did his own recording of it AFTER Angelina performed it. His version is essentially a cover of Angelina’s arrangement. 😳

Thank you!! I purposely kept from explaining the various theories because, as you see, it generated many thoughtful comments and peoples own theories. My belief is that this song turned out so well, the family was forced to shelve it. Releasing it would have detracted them from their long term plan of not signing her to a label until much later, putting her schooling first, and continue perfecting her craft. To release this song, I think there would have been to much pressure to sign, and if they didnt sign, would risk long term interest. Again, we are talking 10 year old Angie, not 15. Nobody knew what her voice was going to with puberty. There were no guarantees. Thankfully, this angelic miracle, not only retained her voice, but improved it to what we will come to consider the best of all time. Listen to this song, and understand she is 10, she hasnt heard another version as she is about to be the first to record it, how she phrases, how she uses all facets of her voice. It is truly, a masterpiece. Continue your good work, you are a joy to listen to. I hope the comments continue to poor in. I thank everyone for their opinions regarding this song. It is so much fun to consider what the truth is here. We all agree its right at the top of her recordings.

I get you, she's highly skilled but some can detect her age at different points in a song. This song was almost 2 years after I Put a Spell on you. Have heard few singers show that level of skill, in either song.

On my list to suggest to you for a bit has been One Voice Children’s Choir. Their rendition of this song is the perfect intro. I listen to it sometimes when I need to be reminded that beauty and promise still exist in the world. Anyway, your daughter might also enjoy (guess to her, these children would be the ‘big kids”). Fact: She was the first one to sing this song - not a cover
Fact: The song was not attracting "buyers" so the songwriter and/or his collaborating friends (who knew Angelina) sent it out to various artists they knew of to make a demo.
Fact: BabyFuZz, the songwriter, failing to sell the song, recorded and released it himself about a month after Angie's version. He denies ever hearing about Angie's version.
Maybe: She flew to London to make this recording.
Maybe: It was never released because Angie and/or her mother did not like the suicide reference.
Maybe: It was never released because BabyFuZz didn't receive it or like it.
Fact: After being released as a video on YT by an unknown person, it was quickly removed. This copy survived and has not been blocked.

All true points. Those that make "claims" that there were specific reasons this wasn't released have absolutely nothing to back their claims, except rumors.
Fact: It is an exceptional performance by a girl that has not yet reached her 11th birthday.
The story i heard about why Angelina pulled this recording was because the ending of the song is about suicide or being saved from suicide. One of the things I really appreciate about AJ is the choices shes made in her own song writing and the covers she performs. Unlike nearly every other artist of her generation, Angelina doesn’t produce graphic content. Thats why she pulled it. Personally really like her version of this song but i also respect her choices.
Great ear! Yes at the very end when she’s sings “whoo ooo ooo” sounds similar to her upper register in “You put a Spell on Me.” 10 almost 11 here and 9 in the latter. Both performances are extraordinarily powerful and mature.
Good evening and I hope you're doing well. Reaction to this song was as expected. Nobody can help but marvel at the fact she was 10 years old when she recorded this. Unfortunately it was a leaked song, and other than on RUclips, was never released to the market. I believe it would have been a huge hit if it were released officially. Personally I would love to see it on her next album! It is a masterpiece for any age, but especially at 10. Great job.
Her voice at 10, or any age for that matter has been incredible, that said, her young age makes her recordings that much more special because she stood miles above everyone else. As we follow her journey, he age is very important because in my opinion, her music is “historical”. For me, it is important to see just how special she’s been since a very, very young age. I do have a question, since age is of no importance for you, I’m wondering why you haven’t reacted to her newer music, both covers and originals released this year at age 15? Thank you again. @DancingCoder You are the only reactor that I'm aware of who has singled out the climactic finale as evidence of her relative vocal immaturity at the time ... not meant as a criticism, I know. You also identified her probable age at recording pretty accurately ... just one year after 'I Put a Spell On You' ... you evidently have good ears, so I'm sure you will agree that all her vocals in this 'demo' have been engineered to cut through the complex backing track, using compression for example, which we fans are not used to hearing in Angelina tracks ... nonetheless most of us, I think, applaud the result as a stunning, precocious hint of what is to come ...! There are no real theories other than she was working on her song “Shield” at the same time and with the same people associated with Baby Fuzz when he was working on this song, and they got her to make this demo, but it was so good that they couldn’t resist releasing her demo so everyone could hear it, but no one picked up the rights to the song and Baby Fuzz released his own demo as the official release, but it didn’t do well, and that’s all there is, we don’t know if they tried to get Angelina to acquire the rights and release an official version, but what we do know is that if they did then the answer was no.
By the way, the ending and its relationship to suicide would not matter, because if Angelina had acquired the rights to the song she could have changed the lyrics just as she does with any other song her mother considered not to be age appropriate!
Once she is officially marketed look for her to make a single of this song. I think it will be a huge success. BUT, everything depends on if Angelina wants to sing it again.

The reference to suicide as a cause for not editing it, it not work, AJ has changed many lyrics for inappropriate references (Amy). It's funny that when the author, Baby Fuzz, decided to release it in 2018, two years after this demo, blatantly copying AJ's style, his team put it on social media one month before Baby released their album ¿!). By the way, it's about time to forget the comparisons, it's true that the styles are alike (sometimes), but Amy would have liked to have had the vocal quality of AJ, especially her vibe, which is totally and absolutely unique. The crazy thing about this is that Angelina sang this at 10. Yes only 10 years old (in 2016, the same year she sang "Feeling good") but as you read on the video, it was leaked 2 years later in 2018. I enjoy your reactions. Keep'em comin'.
She had quite a few great songs when she was ten. She must of had really gotten to know her voice at that time before it started to mature. You could tell by the way she sung the song that she was in the pocket.
I absolutely get what you mean by her child's voice peeking through even though she's incredible. When I first heard her at age 8 singing summertime I felt her voice was 100% adult, now that I've heard her sing for years at different ages when I listen to her early songs I can 100% hear the "baby" or child's voice there it's just that her childish voice is very mature and even very young she had incredible control.
You should give a listen to her Norway's got talent performances the 4 are spread over a bit less than a year she started at 7 won at 8 and in that short span you can notice the huge development in her voice.
In order there is Gloomy sunday, I'm a fool to want you, bang bang and Summertime. You can find them separately with subtitles in the ones where there are comments from the judges or there is one video around with the 4 songs together but no subtitles unfortunately.
I'm sure there will be lots of comments on story behind this song. I'm going to say up front I'm terrible with names. Anyway from a comment section from someone else who reviewed this song, had the privilege of interviewing both the writer of this piece as well as those in Angelina's circle. The artist of this piece.sent it out to get someone to do a demo & perhaps record it for him. The artist goes by "Baby Fuzz". Don't remember his real name. I understand they liked her version. At this time Angelina wasn't signed to any recording label, nor would her family allow that at that particular time, her being around 10. This wasn't a cover from a recorded number by the artist. Without getting into the politics of recording labels, it got shelved. Now the original artist did make a recording & it's out on Utube. I think it's been out 2yrs? But Angelina's version was leaked out before his. The original artist wasn't going to have hers blocked. From what I understand he approves of her version. Basically he did a cover of his own song. The pics were compiled by a fan for this vid. From what I read, she will never perform this again. So far no one knows who leaked the song. Or if someone knew, they have kept that a secret.

This song is part of the legend about Angelina. If she had put it out it would have been an original, but she newer did. Someone leaked it, we dont know who or why. I hope someday Angelina will tell the story about what happen. The suicide theory is as far as we know only one theory. I can probably just as rightly say that her mother did not like Angelina 10 years old singing about scrolling through 1000 faces on her phone (Tinder?).
Theory says Angelina will never sing this song again. Baby Fuzz the writer of the song did sing this song himself eventually. But his version has become a far cry from this Angelina demo.
The publish date on the video does not necessarily indicate when she recorded it. I think, tho I could be wrong, that she was around 10 when she sang this. No one is sure, other than Angelina and her family, why this song was rejected, or why she doesn't want to ever sing it again. Baby Fuz, who wrote the song, denies ever having sent it to Angelina to sing, and it was never received by him. He did own version of the song. If you check it out, have your barf bag ready, lol.

I will add: 1. The song written by Baby Fuzz and never released (sans a demo for trying sell it) so the license for the song was oddly up in the air. 2. Despite Angelina's team not wanting it released they never asked for it to be taken down. So in short you have this odd situation where as others have mentioned this adult themed song was "leaked" not released on purpose. Lastly, we can note that Back to Black recorded around the same time was completely re-written by Angelina on the fly, because of its adult contact and her parents concerns. Small mystery all around on this one.

It should have been Angelina's song written by Baby fuzZ, it was taped in the studio and for some reason there was a questionable lyric about suicide and they didn't want a 10year old singing about that so Baby fuzZ, liked what she did with it, he recorded it him self....

I have my own theory based on no verifiable facts. Lots of stories are told by fans claiming to know the truth. The most believable version I’ve accepted that makes the most sense is : the song was obviously professionally mixed. Two of the songwriters (not Baby Fuzz) mixed this demo. An assumption I make on my own is that Fuzz had already laid down his demo that she was able to get an idea of what the song should sound like (the phrasings of the lyrics) after that it was all her doing her magic with it. So the demo is cut. Fuzz claims to never have known about it. One would assume at this point his demo or hers did not draw any interest. (I think Lana Del Ray would have loved it and killed it like Angie did) so meanwhile someone in the loop has Angies demo and says this song is way too good to stay in hiding. And it got conveniently leaked. Maybe her camp. Maybe songwriters. Nobody knows. Nobody is saying. I think the suicide story is completely made up. Her camp has never acknowledged that story. Lyrics are very metaphorical. Fuzz was raised in the Church. Going down to the river and putting your head in the water is Baptism. A rebirth. A forgiveness of sins. Maybe a metaphorical death to this obsession he has with the woman he longs for that doesn’t want him. He speaks a little about the song in an interview and doesn’t say one way or the other about the meaning other than what I just said about his unhealthy obsession with someone else
Thank you for another very thoughtful reaction to Angelina. If you can hold in your mind the pictures of Angelina singing "Feeling Good" or "Fly me top the moon" then you can be assured that it was the same person singing this song. For me, at the age of 10, Angelina had shed all childishness from her voice., although I must agree that that last phrase in this song did not sound as adult as the rest of the performance.

Btw, I have no knowledge or background info on AJ other than from the songs I have already heard (on my channel) or from those recommending the songs (on the channel), where they have offered up details after hearing one of her songs.

Angelina had nothing to do with the video. The sound recording got out and a fan added the pictures - which I love, but Angelina and her team had nothing to do with creating the video. 😎

God I hope she never branches out into Norwegian death metal!! LOL Or some boy breaks her heart and she becomes another Taylor Swift!:P When I hear her do Amy Winehouse or Lana Del Rey I would never believe that it isn't really them. She literally BECOMES them it's amazing and she's soooo good!! If you haven't seen them yet her performances for Norway's got talent are all amazing and she's 7-8 at that time!! She's just the most amazing singer I have ever heard. I really like her songs with minimal instrumental backup and just a guitar or piano that showcase her voice without overpowering her. She has a gift for cutting away all the extra fluff and unnecessary clutter from a song and slowing it down and not trying to scream or belt it out and turn it into a masterpiece like her rendition of bohemian rhapsody. She can whisper a song and make it more meaningful and special than if someone else belted it out and made it a powerhouse. She just has a natural gift and it seems effortless for her. Most every cover she has ever done is now my favorite version.
Very nicely done dude,, this is my theory about this song,, Brandon Lowrey (baby fuzz) wrote the song with someone else an gave it to Angelina to do what she always does with any song she gets her hands on,, then mr Fuzz hears her MASTERPIECE an decided that it didn't fit her musically?? "seriously" (COME-ON-MAN) an that there's no suicide reference,, (witch was actually said by one of fuzzies team members) then he decided to sing it himself,, but his version sounds so much like Angelina's version that you can say that he covered Angelina's song and he failed miserably (my opinion) so fuzz had a couple of his team members help her with her original song "SHIELD",,, probably to try to keep her quiet about what really happened about this song,, until this was supposedly "leaked",, it had to come from his camp,, (sorry so long)

I understand Angelina's and the family's concern. If the writer of the song approved her changing the suicide part of the song I would feel differently .. but we all know how fast people connect her to Amy. Always the first connection to another artist. This is a musically gorgeous piece of music. if she can come up with a way of changing that part of the song it would be a no bassinet to go ahead. But for a big hit which I believe it would be .. it would not be a smart choice to have the open market audience, many of whom would make the connection to Amy .. have her release a song where suicide is mentioned .. unless it was an actual song about Amy. Folike Amy, sound like Amy and be speaking obviously about considering suicide is not a good choice. ..just my opinion.
