Hi Richard, I'm loving your Access videos!! I'm tearing my hair out trying to figure out a formula for determining a contract expiration date. This is WAY over my head. I have an NTPDate field (start date of contract - date/time field) and a ContractTerm field (number of days for contract - number field). Now I need a calculated field or a query that will add ContractTerm to NTPDate and give me the contract expiration date. Can you help??

    Hello, nice video, Thank you.
    I am a beginner, may I ask a question.
I want to implement a database and have (among others) the following fields:
StartDate which will be in Date/Time format: say 20/10/2021 10:20:34 AM
EndDate (the same format): 28/10/2021 02:35:15 PM
and then have a calculated field called say TotalTime which will give the difference between (EndDate- StartDate) in the format of HH:MM:SS
HH could be over 24 if there are several days between the EndDate and StartDate.
Is it possible to create this in a calculated field in Access? Could you give me some hints?

      thank you very much
      may I ask something else?
Do you have a video on how to combine 2 different databases?
They are 2 different databases, not 2 different Tables in the same database.
      for example:
I want to import fields from database 1 to database 2 and have them displayed in database 2.
      to be more specific:
database 1 has 3 fields: "PartNumber", "DescriptionOfThePart", "UnitPrice"
database 2 is about Orders so it has a field about the "PartNumber" which will link the 2 databases.
so I want to import the "DescriptionOfThePart" and the "UnitPrice" from database 1 to database 2.
So every time I enter a new line in database 2 and insert the "PartNumber" in the appropriate cell and press enter, then automatically the "DescriptionOfThePart" and the "UnitePrice" will be retrieved from database 1 and appear on the appropriate fields in database 2.
Is there a video about it? could you give me some hints?
      Thank you
