@@LearnEnglishwithBobtheCanadian Hi Bob! Thanks for the videos, they are excellent. English= supermarket Français= supermarché Español/ Portugués= supermercado Greetings from Buenos Aires!
Mr. Bob’s laid back personality and sense of humor make him one of my favorite you tubers. Your lectures are down to earth and comprehensible. I love them all.
Hi Bob, thank you so much for all the effort you put here in your channel. I am from Iraq and I feel I am missing something if I didn't come by one of your videos every day. My best wishes for you and your family!
I recently encountered your videos and I love the way you teach English. Today I went to a grocery store and tried to remember the words while going around various sections in the store. Thanks from Japan!
Dear Bob, One of the first new words I learned on my visit to Canada has been "grocery store". I didn't learn it in the english lesson at my German school. But from the sound it remembered me to the German word for "big", that is "gross" in the German language, spoken 'groz' with an long 'o'. For that I looked up to the etymologie of the word "grocery store". And it is like this, this word has his roots in the German word "gross", that means a "big" store. In German the dubble 'ss' is speaken as a 'z', and in German this 'ss' is an spezial letter/sign 'ß'. But I think, this letter cannot been illustrated on a international komment.
Hi Bob. I'm pretty sure you would like brazilian food. May you come to Brazil and try out feijoada, it's made out of black turtle beans, a lot of different pork cuts, like pork ribs, spicy sausage, bacon. It's quite yummy.
I knew it so! Holland! Bob, you really looks like a Viking!!!! I like your beard !!! it's really cool and suits you! i always wanted to say you that ;-)
I speak clearly, and a little bit slower than normal. About 10% slower. If you watch the last parts of these videos (the last minute) you'll hear me speak at my normal speed: ruclips.net/video/lk9qNnRuqOc/видео.html 😎
I like your video very much, can you do a video for driving rules or transportation rules, and one for optical problems, because I see you are wearing glasses sometimes. Thank you very much!
hi bob, I usually watch your videos and I noticed that you often say affirmative phrases like: I do want, I do buy. why do not you say: I want, I buy? Is it wrong? Which moments do I use the word "do" like that?
Thanks so much for the lesson! It was very useful and interesting to know how it is in Canada! In Ukraine we call the Grocery's Store just a Supermarket and actually I could see the same aisles at the supermarket as we have here:))
PS.... When I was a bartender on Grand Cayman my grocery store had a CANADIAN AISLE where I'd buy my Stoned Wheat Thins and other such Canadian goodies!!!!! ❤😁

If I have to buy more than two things in the shop I need to write shoping list.
hi bob, I usually watch your videos and I noticed that you often say affirmative phrases like: I do want, I do buy. why do not you say: I want, I buy? Is it wrong? Which moments do I use the word "do" like that?
'Get groceries' or you can say 'get some supplies'. 😊
We would rarely say that here. It is proper, but not used often. 😎
@@LearnEnglishwithBobtheCanadian I think supplies has to be more specific. Could be school supplies, office supplies, etc. It is a very vague word...
@@mariap.894 I agree.
hi bob, how do you pronounce can & can't? when listening to native english speakers (americans), I just can't tell the difference between the two
