The Okko FX Motorbass distortion pedal is designed to capture Lemmy's signature tone he achieved from his Marshall stack with Motorhead.This pedal nails it and does so much more.
It can do everything from slight grit to full on raging distortion while keeping the low end tight and staying clear and crisp. Operates internally at 24 volts from a regular 9 volt power supply.
Controls are:
LOUDER (volume)
FASTER (gain)
HARDER (tone control that works on the upper mids)

The Basses:
- MTD Michael Tobias Design 435 American myrtle burl top on poplar body, maple neck and rosewood fretboard. Active Bartolini pickups and preamp.
- Elrick Hybrid 4 with Bartolini pickups and preamp. Passive mode.
The Amp:
Mesa Boogie Carbine M9 into a RoadReady 6x10 cab.
Speaker was mic'd with an AKG D112. There is no DI signal on this one.
NO eq, audio controls, or compression were added.

Really enjoy the demos where we can see you play! How about one where the camera stays on you with a smaller PIP view of the pedal in a corner? I always learn something from you...that way we can see WHAT you play as well!

lobotomy007 Not at all. It keeps the low frequencies amazingly even without a blend knob.
