What comes across is elaborate information very well presented.. so many versions of the same food, n also the precision in choosing their ingredients, particularly the spices.. Its nice to hear from people who are not just foodie s, but who have also well explored n understood the history n evolution of their respective cuisines. 👍
Just listening to Nolan and the lady speak is just so mesmerizing. I could imagine the portuguese era , the Africans slaves coming to Goa. Thank so much for all the information. I would love to eat at this place in Goa for sure on the next trip. I hope Nolan has his own channel and spreads his knowledge. Loved his panch panchi concept story he has great narrative skills. Thanks bro.
Discussion of xacuti is the master piece of today's episode. As per the discussion, yes there are different versions of dishes making in different areas. Xacuti is also called as sagoti (सागोती), or saguti (सागुती) in Sindhudurg, southern part of Maharashtra kokan region.

Absolutely a Wonderful Episode which has flavoured with Good quality of Informative debate over Dining Table. Actually such type of Food Discussions with Expertise in the Field should be arranged. We are Tasting the Xacuti or Cafreal over years but didn't have this much details on their versions. The Taste difference was simply ignored by us with a remark that it might be their own way to serve the food differently. Your team has done a wonderful team work to make this presentation different from othe shows. That's why i expressed earlier that such a teamwork enhancing the contents of the show to extreme rich & high level. Now we do expect such a Foidie Debate on each regions foodie culture. Our quench for food is reached more deep to know the food we enjoyed in more detailed. Thank you very much for this lovely episode.
This is the first I came to know Cafreal is an African dish. I like to read books that give authentic history of dishes among others, that are conveniently passed as Goan or Portugese cuisine in the state of Goa
Awesome video! Truly enjoyed it. Next time if you get a chance do visit Pedne (in English Pernem)…Try out that button chilies Xacuti! I think you will like it. Take Ruturaj with you…the best best entertainer and the host, at least I had seen on your videos. Cheers! Pernem is in North Goa very close to Maharashtra Border….Enjoy!
These conversations over the dining table is just wonderful. Hanging with knowledgeable people is not only a experience but a virtue 👍👍👍👍👍
