I don’t think Eren’s actions at the end are inconsistent with his goal. From the beginning his main goal was eliminate the titans, both as revenge for them killing his mother and as revenge for them keeping him confined to the walls. When he finds out about the outside world and that the outside world was 100% onboard with keeping him confined he transferred his desire for revenge to the outside world. But more than that he had access to the Attack Titan’s future memories and knew that taking these actions would eliminate titans from the world, thus fulfilling his primary motivation. I also think the downside of the attack Titan is that its users essentially become slaves to their own fate, unable to make decisions that would change the ultimate course of events that leads to Ymir’s moving on. We see this with Grisha begging Zeke to stop Eren, while that seems odd because that Grisha had the ability to stop Eren by simply not giving him the Attack Titan I think that he was essentially forced by the Attack Titan to pass it to Eren. For him revealing he had feelings for Mikasa that does come out of left field considering Eren hadn’t particularly shown any romantic interest in anyone.
in the final episode he literally says that he didn't do it to save his friends, and that was a front for his real selfish goal. Line by line says that

Rarely have I seen so much bullshit in a video and someone who understands a character so poorly. Since season 1, it's been clear that Eren is extremely frustrated by the fact that he's constantly being saved by Mikasa. This frustration wouldn't make sense if he wasn't in love with her, because he'd have no reason to be frustrated about being saved by the one he'd see as a sister. Only if he's in love with her does it make sense, because he thinks he's not worthy of her until he can save her in turn. That's why he refused her kiss at the end of season 2, because it would be an admission of defeat. And in season 4, he literally said word for word that his friends are his most precious possession, and he wishes them a long and happy life. This makes perfect sense with Eren's need for freedom, present from the start, as he has always seen being enclosed within walls as an obstacle to his and humanity's happiness. So him being ready to do anything to protect his friends and the island makes perfect sense, which is therefore linked to his need to protect his friends, which is also linked to his need to protect Mikasa, whom he loves.
