yes it does if the Touch ID cable on your new back light is faulty and sometimes it do comes with a faulty cable when you buy from non genuine chinese suppliers

The 3D touch is on the 6S Backlight .. If you change this the 3D Touch should work ... and maybe the Backlight also ... but with the brightness it can also be a Backlight error on the Mainboard .. Backlight coil do that often

No this error only come when you change the HomeButton
That's correct it doesn't affect anything,I just had one replaced on a iPhone 6S plus

You can remove the led strip from the 6s and take parts from an iphone 6 to make this repair. It's a lot cheaper.
