Great video. There is a connection between Kasar Devi and the Van Allen radiation belt, but it is not a direct connection.
In the 1960s and 1970s, it became known as a hub for scientists and researchers, who were drawn to the area for its clear skies and low levels of light pollution. Some of these scientists were involved in research related to the Van Allen radiation belt.
In the 1960s and 1970s, scientists at the Physical Research Laboratory in Ahmedabad, India, established an observatory in Kasar Devi to study the Earth's magnetic field and its interactions with the Van Allen radiation belt. The observatory, known as the Himalayan Chandra Telescope, was used to study the magnetic field and cosmic rays, which are high-energy particles that originate from outside the solar system.
So, while there is a connection between Kasar Devi and the Van Allen radiation belt through the work of the scientists at the Himalayan Chandra Telescope, it is an indirect connection. The village of Kasar Devi itself does not have any direct impact on the Van Allen radiation belt.

In many cases a single use of certain drugs in conjunction with ritual has lasting and permanent life change effects.

@@davidmott2090 Wrong. Drug usage deludes your brain and makes you spiritually worse than a common man. You and your behaviour is an evidence of that. You are facing psychological issues due to drug addiction just like any other junkie. Not surprising at all. You are hallucinating just like any other addict. You are weak which is why you are trying to find shortcuts though there are no shortcuts for spiritually. You need psychological help to become a normal human being. And then perhaps there is hope for you in spiritual progression. There is no single spiritual benefits from drugs. Period.

You should look up Roland Griffiths's work on psychedelics. It demonstrates that permanent, positive transformations can be reliably produced with these substances (psilocybin in particular) and so it's not just a case of being a fleeting experience.
While I don't think all of these can be lumped together, some of these substances need to be approached with a certain amount of care and reverence because just like anandamide, we have no idea what exactly is being dealt with. An example of this is the preparation and use of Ayahuasca in shamanic rituals/initiations which are usually preceded by some form of preparatory training/austerities, not unlike yogic sadhana.
