I always found it touching (and sad) that an Unsullied went to a brothel to receive care and affection -- something they've never experienced before. Heartbreaking that it cost him his life.
Same. I was in IOP treatment and it’s hard to fill 3 hours 3X/week.. so our “counselor” who was still in school would fill the time talking about GOT. The more the group talked the more I became adamant about never watching it. Obviously I caved later. But my dad warned me to NOT watch the last season…😂
Roose Bolton is Ramsay's dad. (Roose and Stannis have a similar look, but they are definitely not the same guy.) Roose was Robb Stark's bannerman, but then betrayed him at the "Red Wedding." As a reward for helping to defeat the Starks, Tywin Lannister made Roose the new "Warden" of the North and gave him Winterfell. Ned Stark supported Stannis to be the King after King Robert died, so Stannis wants to support the Starks and liberate the north from the Boltons because of that loyalty.
If you remember, that wasn't the first time Jaqen H'ghar changed faces. Remember, earlier when he gave Arya the coin, and they parted ways, he revealed to her that he can change faces. He told her if she went with him that he could train her to be a Faceless Man. He then gave her the coin and told her what to say, he turned away from her, and turned back again with a different face and said Farewell, Arya Stark.
For me at least, it helps to pull up a map of the world from time to time while watching this show to get a better understanding of where everyone is. The majority of the show takes places on the Continent of Westeros, while Daenerys (and now Arya and Tyrion) are on a totally different continent called Essos. The two continents are separated by an ocean.
The guy that dropped Arya off said "Valar Marghulis" which means "all men must die". The customary response is "Valar Dohaeris" which means "all men must serve".
@@leeroyleeroythey really don’t, they’ve already finished the series. it just seems like it because of the editing that needs to be done to upload the vids to youtube.

43:11 At this point, following succession (by rule of conquest) as Robert's elder brother, by rights, Stannis *is* the rightful King of Westeros... Robb *was* declared King of the North, but, that would still be considered a rebellion against the Iron Throne, and that rebellion ended at the Red Wedding, so Stannis is totally valid in his claim to be King, and to have been able to legitimize Jon as Jon Stark (but I think Jon made the right choice to uphold his vow to the Nights Watch, because it showed that he keeps his word and takes it seriously)
Again, The stones were placed on the eyes of the dead as weights to keep the eyelids closed as rigor mortus set in. To have a dead friend, lover, or relative suddenly staring up at you when you knew that they had been killed would be a little too unnerving.
Asia, Ramsey Snow's father is Roose Bolton. Roose Bolton is the new Warden of the North, the title that Ned Stark held before he was killed by Joffrey. After Roose betrayed Robb at the Red Wedding, Tywin Lannister gave Roose Bolton the Stark lands (including Winterfell). Roose has legitimized Ramsey so he is now a Bolton and has promised to give him Winterfell, so I think you are confusing Stannis and Roose.
Thanks for another great reaction. For a man to bend the knee to another man is a big thing, alot of men don´t like being dominated, and for a leader like Mance to bend the knee would be a big shame. Looking forward to the next one, guys!
It's because they waited so long before watching season 5 start. They should release episodes again like before. Closer together. I appreciate that it finally showed up on my feed again.
Ik other people said it already. Westeros is the main continent where all the Lannister, starks and everyone and all the main families live. Not where Dany is
At this point in the Game you might want to look up an online GOT World Map. Just so you can keep track of where the characters are in the world. There will be a lot of character jumping back and forth and they are all over the maps. Having a map helps you know where they are, where they got off to and where they are going. Thanks for continuing GOT Reelin. I like all your reaction's & lookin forward to more
The whole idea of bending the knee means you acknowledge that someone else is in control. For a leader to do so in front of his people had a lot of implications, including betrayal.
The small council did not ignore Cersi because she was a woman, they ignored her because she has not power. She is the widow of a King and the mother of a King, but she is not the Queen. She is the Queen Mother, who is trying to reign and the small council won't let her.
The statue they tore down was a Harpy symbol, which is a sign of slavery in Essos, the continent across the Narrow Sea from Westeros. The Seven Kingdoms are in Westeros and Danerys is currently in Essos, but she was born in Westeros. Ramsay's father is Roose Bolton. He and Stannis DO look a little similar but Roose doesn't have that permanently pissed off look on his face Stannis. He looks more snide.
Aria's story with the House of Black and White and the Faceless Men is one of the cooler story lines in the show. It takes a full 2 seasons to go full circle but boy is it worth it. Thanks for picking up on season 5! Love the reaction ❤
20:22 - I misheard this, and thought you said 'Reggie' not 'Ramsey', and I laughed for the next sixty seconds. Something about a Game of Throines character being called 'Reggie' just tickled me. Reggie of King's Landing. Reggie, son of Chuck, brother of Cleetus.

You're getting Stannis confused with Roose Bolton! Roose Bolton (The one who stabbed Robb Stark) is Ramsey's father. And Tyrion and Varys sailed out of Westeros. They are now in Essos.
Think of Westeros as the country where the 7 Kingdoms are. There is also Easteros, where Dani is. I’m not well versed in the geography but I believe that’s the structure.
One of the biggest issues I have with game of Thrones is that they split the events of the 3rd book between Seasons 3 and 4, yet they COMBINED the events of the 4th and 5th books for season 5. There was enough material between them to to fill out their own respective seasons, but they smashed them together and left out a lot of content.

I started watching GOT at the end of the 4th season. Only because HBO offered a free month to try them. I got hooked. But I caught up to them at tyrion’s trial and thus had to then wait for new seasons like everyone else. Still, until the end of the show, I only paid for HBO when the GOT seasons started and shut it back off after the season ended.
