Thanks for the very helpful info. I bought a 2012 Soul that the ex-boyfriend of the previous owner had abused with a baseball bat after a nasty breakup I was told. Shattered the windshield and dinged up both fenders and a few other body panels. I was lucky enough to locate replacement fenders, rear bumper cover and doors in the same color, so no painting will be needed in my case. I already had the windshield replaced, so after I get my body panels fixed, she'll look ship shape again.
That is a great find , you cannot beat finding the same color parts . This year model was a really compact and fun to drive. Thank you very much for sharing and good work getting this Kia fixed up once again.
Your video is really helpful. I want to replace my fender. I found a white 2016 soul at my pick a part. I was going to pay a body garage to do this but I think I can do it. Do I need to get new clips after I take them out? Also what type of impact wrench are you using? Thank you.
I would probably get some new clips just in case. You really don't need the impact but I usually just use the 3/8 impact I got from harbor freight. Thank you for watching.
those self u-pull places are great for car parts, and if your lucky you'll get the perfect color match ... , getting an original complete door sure beats replacing the door skin, and have many extra internal spare parts ....

My only problem with your video is and it was very helpful the mounts under the hood that were pushed out you did not show how to bend those back or move those back into place my Fender isn't damaged but I have the same Gap that you have
If it has glue it is usually near the door. I just start carefully peeling the fender off. A heat gun may help out as well. Wish i could be more help .

I have several options from least expensive to more expensive. If you have a pick n pull or a pull it yourself salvage yard nearby , facebook market place ( people part cars possibly nearby ) , carpart.com used parts ( search engine for closest salvage yard , usually grade A quality , and lastly ebay ( great option except shipping sometimes can get pricey. If you can find your color even paying a little extra saves money for paint and time , so well worth it. Great to hear you are fixing this yourself and hope this goes smoothly. I have not had to replace the latch on a Kia Soul but it requires removing the inside door panel and dissasembly of the door components . Wish I could be more help. Thank you for watching.
Fender was from a 2010 they fit 10-13 . the bumper and headlight are specific to 12-13 . Having said that if you change headlights and bumper it would work. Only thing I am not sure of is the wire connector to headlight assembly . Thanks for the feedback.
@@s33therfan ok yea the connectors was different on the 08 than on my 2012. Going the junkyard again tomorrow so I will probably need to get the other 08 head light to make it work with the 08 bumper. But the fenders on my 12 should work? Do u know about the hood?
You are correct the hood would not work with the 2010. Everything 12-13 I guess was specific to those years and that would include the headlights , hood , front bumper.

2010 to 2013 will fit , ideally it is better to find a matching color and save money. Car part .com used parts should pull up all the local salvage yards and what they have. Look for grade A. Hope this helps.
The bumper is year specific for 12-13 , but the fenders are the same 10-13. You will find this on a lot of cars , where only the front bumper and headlights will be a new style , but the overall body style exactly the same. Appreciate the feedback.

Those fenders in my Kia soul are stick it like glue, the one by the driver door. There are three screws, then Glue. How you remove it?

@@s33therfan I tried to remove it after removing the screws and it is glue it. Why they added glue there if they put screws? so stupid.
Do you know where I can find those 13 mm door replacement bolts at i think i stripped my bolt trying to put the door back on several times
Tractor supply has a great assortment of bolts and lengths . I would match the threads and length and use one frome there. Hope this helps.
Do you need to remove bumper too add fenders ? I need the replace my fenders but I don't really want to take the bumper off if it's not necessary
You have to take it loose on the sides to be able to access the bolts . Thanks for watching.

How do you swap the door locks and Adjust the door I have a 2012 soul and the door stopped latching so I gotta get one from the junk yard
