Here's a super quick run-down on some tricks and flips you can learn by yourself on grass! We don't go into too much detail for each trick, but we have full tutorials for all of this stuff if you are still struggling. Hope it helps! Attempt at your own risk though, obviously.

Don't try a front flip on ground first time. Most people I see have zero technique and will land flat on their back. If you're fine, go ahead, if not, get a trampoline and learn how to do it properly

If you have access to one, then just jump on a mat. You'll most likely land on your butt the first times which might be painful on grass, but on a mat it's pretty safe ;)
Or even if you dont have a proper mat use a mattress

As far as teaching goes, best practice is to not blab about how easy something is in case your students start thinking they suck for not being able to do it.

@Yvan Sainathan yeah but as a beginner it’s going to really hurt your ankles if a front flip is the first flip you learn. IMO side flip is a lot easier

Lol, I'm a gymnast and that was not the Aerial, it was just a butterfly kick. Aerial is a cartwheel but without hands. You should be completely upside down and it requires flexibility to get around. Not the same 😂 aside from that, the vid was nice.
Locura there’s actually different types of Aerials. There’s the gymnastics type, martial arts style and tricking style.

This video is easy to mislead a young person to attempt one if these tricks without proper preparing. Cool to watch. I can't do the first trick but due to another video it taught me how to do it easily and how to practice to get better.

In ANY flip you do. You NEVER THROW YOUR HEAD! That's how you really screw up on a flip.

I always wanted to learn how to do aeriel flip, but my dance teacher never taught me. I looked everywhere on youtube and couldn't find t because I didn't know what it was called. I found this video where it explains everything and I tried the aeriel flip, and after about 30-45 minutes of practice I got it down. I never did flips before. Thank you so much this video was extremely helpful!!

Side flip front flip is super easy next is a good b twist with your head more towards the ground is easy flips try them because I can do these on cement.

well, I tried a side flip and landed on my side but I did a front flip but landed it on my feet. I even tried a side flip on a trampoline but still didn't land it.

I actually tried to learn some of these on grass when I was a kid. I don't really recommend it though. Landing a front flip flat on your back has a way of making you feel like you'll never breath again.
