Like she has some middle eastern features but I guess I’m just not used to seeing middle eastern people that fair completed with light eyes. Its so interesting to listen to you talking about Lebanese culture. Our engagement here Malay culture is more like just a mere proposal but instead of the guy proposing, he sends his family over to the girl’s house and his mom will put the ring on the girl’s finger on behalf of her son but its still not considered halal tho lol. Our nikah ceremony is usually followed by a reception the day or two days after. But some prefer to do nikah only and get done with it. No ceremonies.
