Yes! You absolutely should! Even for smooth-coated breeds, Allison always recommends that you use a hot dryer on your show dogs. Hot dryers use the higher heat (hotter than a velocity dryer) to lock in style - body and volume, straight and smooth - to get the coat bone dry, and to make sure you are not leaving any moisture in the coat that might lead to hot spots or a cold in the tail.
