I just came across your posting while I was trying to find some videos where folks gave their experience with EGD. I am hoping to get gastric sleeve done and I too am in the same position you were. I am hoping to have a hernia so that I qualify for the program with another practice here in Houston. Thanks for posting your experience. I am not so scared now. I get my EGD done tomorrow morning. Sleeviee E I had my endoscopy done on Friday. EGD was a breeze. I ended up having a small hiatal hernia. I talked with my True Results patient advocate yesterday and was told I am approved for surgery. Yeah! They gave me some available dates of Aug 18th and Aug 25th. I think that is a bit soon. I need time to plan and prepare. I am thinking September is the right time to do it.
Totally off topic but girl I envy that thunderstorm that you had! Between your soft voice and that storm in the background I could have easily dozed off lol. I'm SO happy that it's working out for you. Keeping my fingers crossed for the rest of the tests ^_^
