How to Move Objects to Different Layers - AutoCAD Basics

Hi All,
It's 2024 and In this AutoCAD tutorial we will learn how to move objects from one layer to another. This is relatively straight forward and easy to do on most drawings. We will be looking under the home tab for the layers box. Once you are here its smooth sailing. You will just need to select your objects first and then select the layer you want them in. We will also be discussing locked layers and how to move objects or shapes into them.
