Thanks for a great video. This very much reminds me of painting on Masa paper, which I have really enjoyed. This was really beautiful.
Thank you for your lovely message
Oh wow! The colours are so vibrant 😍. Love this.
Thank you, it’s all about layering! Building up the colours, allowing the glazes to do what they love 💗
Linda, that was gorgeous. I loved the artwork and the colors were magnificent.
So enjoying your channel! Thank you for posting these very instructional videos.
Wonderful Linda!! Have used tissue paper and medium on canvas to get texturing but used acrylic washes not watercolour. Yours was great!! Might try with my watercolours and board. Thanks from Canada 🇨🇦.
Enjoy!
I'm addicted to tissue paper and watercolour. Love this video.
thanks Peter :)
Very dramatic , more of these with tissue would be wonderful ❤
okay for sure :)
❤🧡💛💚💙💜LINDA, THIS IS SO VERY AWESOME !
Thanks! Xxx
Love your work!
Thank you so much, Linda. Again you have inspired me on my watercolor journey! Good tips here about gel medium and inktense pencil.
Thanks so much, both great mediums :)
I love this! Thank you!
Great!

I can't wait to try this!
You should!
Hi Linda…I’m so glad you are back! Loved this video! You’ve inspired me again….thank you!❤
Hi Jill! Yes I’m back, and making the videos I realised how much I enjoy it!
Wonderful!
Thanks Butter 😀
This is so beautiful! Thank you! I’m delighted to have found you!
Thank you
Beautiful! I used old mat board, then mixed half white glue half water and placed the tissue paper on with the glue mixture. It worked out pretty fine!
Yes I’ve done that too, 😀
I love your art. ❤
thank you so much!
@@lindabrownartist , your welcome. Your very inspiring.
Stunning!!!!!!!
Thank you!!
I have just read your reply to another comment and your reply has answered my question. Thanks again absolutely love your videos.
Thank you d
I suggest you put the finished painting on the slide we view before opening. It’s so beautiful and more interesting than the black slide. You’ll get more views.
Thank you for that advice, much appreciated
Done!
Brava!
🤩
How do you take the painting off the board? My tissue tears when I lift off the tape. Thanks for sharing this technique, it’s fantastic.
use a sharp blade and a ruler :)
😮😮😮❤❤❤
I LOve your work so interesting. Can I ask how you remove the paper from your board ? Many thanks.
Use a sharp blade and a ruler, just cut along the paper line 😃
Gorgeous. I so wish I could do this but somehow it doesn’t come out the same! Thank you Linda I shall keep trying 😅
Just practice holding your brush at the far end, keeps you loose, less control x
Absolutely love this Linda. Do you use wet strength tissue for this or ordinary fine, acid free tissue paper?
Just ordinary acid free tissue paper 😀
Thank you 😊
Beautiful painting and one I will have to try! I never would have thought that the watercolour would work on top of the liquitex gel medium but it obviously has! Does the gel medium take long to dry? Thank you for your videos😊
very quick to dry!
Hi Linda, I missed what you mounted the tissue paper on? I've used tissue for texture before, but your results are amazing...especially using the Inktense pencils, which I love too. Do you need to use 'ground' on the paper, ready for watercolour or does gesso work?
I just use gesso on the WC paper.
Gesso, tissue, gesso, dry. Paint 😀
Thank you so much for sharing Linda. Do you manage and frame behind glass?
I always frame watercolours behind glass with a Matt board. 😀
@@lindabrownartist Thank you Linda. I just wondered if you had ever mounted them onto a wooden panel, fixed and varnished them? It's something that I'm thinking of trying.
@cathydale104 ou would need to use a spray varnish because a brush varnish would smear them. You could also try using a wax finish.
@@lindabrownartist Thank you. 😊
Can you use any glue?? Love your work ❤
Probably pva , just experiment on a small piece 😀🙏
@@lindabrownartist thank you I have mod podge ?❤👍
Should be fine!
Thank you so much. Pass on your name to my art group . Your work is beautiful 👏👏👏👏👍❤
