You talk! Yes! So many make videos with music or type on the screen. I have eye fatigue and can’t stare at any screen for too long. I usually listen and look up here and there to keep up visually. I like to listen while making my own art so thank you for talking! Every artist has days where things don’t turn out. It’s okay, it’s okay to show it as well. You could always talk about why you think it didn’t turn out as you would have liked. It helps beginners with their self confidence to let them know everybody has those days and it’s a learning process no matter how experienced one is.

Thanks so much for this tutorial! I can't wait to try this. I'm not very artistic and traditional watercolor sometimes stresses the perfectionist in me. I think this will be relaxing for me
Thank you do much for sharing. I follow you on IG as well. You did a really good job with this video. Very detailed and showing the products/tools as you went! Looking forward to your next one.
Can't thank you enough for taking the time to demonstrate and talk through your process. I have been trying to figure it out on my own by watching the IG reels/posts. Eager to see your videos continue, although I know the editing/posting takes a lot of time, which takes away from your painting time. Two questions - does it matter which side of the paper you use? It seems the same on both sides to me, unlike rice paper. Secondly, have you tried inks with metallics? Following along with you, I tried using a fountain pen ink I have that has gold flecks (Diamine Shimmering Seas). It floated on top of the ink beautifully, but the water didn't pull it very far - probably too heavy. Wishing you great success on your journey!
I'm so glad you enjoyed the video. I can't tell a difference in the paper from one side to the other. I have used some of the metallic pen ink, but I have noticed it rubs off very easily once the pigments dry. For some shimmer I like the Golden High Flow. They have copper, gold, and silver as well as a cool interference one. I've also tried some of the acrylic inks out there that are shimmery...I'm getting an idea for a future video 😂. I appreciate you watching and taking the time to comment! I will have another video soon!
Thankyou so very much for sharing your process! I watch your short videos avidly and have tried unsuccessfully to replicate even in a small way your glorious results… mud rules in my house! I’m going to give it another go now lol. If I get half as much pleasure as you clearly so I’ll be a happy person!!!
This was mesmerizing! I have been I to watercolor for about 2.5 years and am obsessed with it. This process you so generously share takes it to the next level. I am going to order this paper and some inks the next time I order supplies. I have ordered from Blick and love them. Have you tried using metallic acrylic inks? Thanks so much! I just found you and subscribed. Beautiful work and great instruction!
Love your process and the magic when the pigments flowed in to the water. Truly beautiful and inspiring. 😍 I fell in love using inks and water as the water is the artist, creating organic abstract art, never knowing how it will turn out and becomes a wonderful lesson in trusting. 😊 In your beautiful piece I could see 2 elemental profiles bottom left and above the horizon line on the right. Simply wonderful. 💗 Thank you so much for sharing your process. 🙏🏻😍🙏🏻
I've loved watching your videos. They're so mesmerizing and relaxing. I've tried doing this several times but mine turn out so murky. How do you keep that from happening? Also, do you seal your paintings before framing them? Thank you for sharing your talent. Your paintings are beautiful.
That was so much fun to watch! I'm a budding WC artist in Central FL. (Hello, neighbor). This process was so much fun to watch. Before tonight I had never heard of mineral paper. I order from Blick a lot (Plus there is a store in Tampa). Now I really want to try that paper! My paintings are usually very realistic, but I want to branch out to forms of painting that 'create themselves'. The first professional watercolors that I ever bought were Dr Ph Martin's liquid colors. Then I discovered that there were hardly anyone instructors that taught painting with liquid colors, so they have barely been used. I wonder if they could work with the process you have shown here? Totally going to give it a try and see! I could very much see one of my realistic studies done on the horizon with your method surrounding the main image. The possibilities are endless! Thank you for this video!
@@kle1701 hi, nice to virtually meet you! I think the Dr ph Martins watercolors are fabulous! They are pigment based so they have some granulating properties and I just recently started using them. Slowly building my collection of colors! This process brings me a lot of joy…I hope you play with your watercolors and have some fun! I spent a lot of time playing with these materials and I’m excited to share more in future videos. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment!
Okay, first of all, how has nobody mentioned that beautiful bracelet you’re wearing?!? And second of all, I love this tutorial. I have some Yupo paper and some Bristol paper that I’m going to try this on, because I don’t have the mineral paper, but, she is in my cart!
For a time, I thought you were using isopropyl alcohol in your process. Then realized I was thinking that because I saw another artist's video who was painting flowers with watercolor on mineral paper and then spraying the paint with isopropyl alcohol during process. It was so fascinating how the color moved with the alcohol spray. She was getting some very cool abstract results. I'm going to start playing with the mineral paper I bought last month. This is all so exciting! Your video has given me the nudge I needed. Thank you, again.
I have been mesmerized by your paintings! I have tried it with just watercolor and watercolor paper and I like the effect. I can't wait to get the materials to do it the right way.

Thanks so much for this tutorial! I can't wait to try this. I'm not very artistic and traditional watercolor sometimes stresses the perfectionist in me. I think this will be relaxing for me
You're welcome! I hope you have some fun with it!
Thank you for sharing your knowledge and experience. I'm so inspired to try this multi media method.
@@maggiengo8717 you’re welcome! Thank you for watching!
Thank you do much for sharing. I follow you on IG as well. You did a really good job with this video. Very detailed and showing the products/tools as you went! Looking forward to your next one.
I appreciate the feedback! I've already got a bunch of ideas for future videos!
This was a great video! Thank you for sharing your process. I’ve been watching your short videos and love what you do. Beautiful!
Thank you so much!
Thanks so much for sharing your process and which paints and tools you use. Hearing your tips really helps too. It’s a magical process ❤
You're welcome! Thank you for watching!
Beautiful! Thank you for sharing. 🙏 such an interesting and inspiring process. 💕
Thank you! I really appreciate that! Thank you for watching!
Thank you so much! I love using the metallics. My favorite is copper high flow acrylic from golden paints.
Sensational. Thanks for the details and your generosity.
Thank you so much for being so generous with your process. Great video!
Love your process and the magic when the pigments flowed in to the water. Truly beautiful and inspiring. 😍
I fell in love using inks and water as the water is the artist, creating organic abstract art, never knowing how it will turn out and becomes a wonderful lesson in trusting. 😊
In your beautiful piece I could see 2 elemental profiles bottom left and above the horizon line on the right. Simply wonderful. 💗
Thank you so much for sharing your process. 🙏🏻😍🙏🏻
@@andreabrown8551 thank you so much for your kind words!
I've loved watching your videos. They're so mesmerizing and relaxing. I've tried doing this several times but mine turn out so murky. How do you keep that from happening? Also, do you seal your paintings before framing them? Thank you for sharing your talent. Your paintings are beautiful.
Thank you for sharing your unique process and your materials. I love your work and your studio❤
I appreciate that! Thanks for watching!
Thank you so much for sharing your process and favorite supplies! Your paintings are all so beautiful! ❤

You're welcome! Thank you for watching!
Great video, thank you
Thank you Kendra! I love your process so much it was great seeing the layering and material❤ -The meandering artist
Thank you! I love your zendoodles! I have never done one...and every time I see one of yours I think to myself...I want do this!
So grateful to you for so generously sharing g your process. Can’t wait to try this Kendra.
That is gorgeous! Thank you so much for sharing!!!
Thank you so much for watching!
Okay, first of all, how has nobody mentioned that beautiful bracelet you’re wearing?!? And second of all, I love this tutorial. I have some Yupo paper and some Bristol paper that I’m going to try this on, because I don’t have the mineral paper, but, she is in my cart!
Thanks so much! Good luck and enjoy the process!
It's hard to get all the info across in less than a minute! I hope you enjoy playing with the mineral paper!
I just found you and am LOVING your work. I have everything, but the mineral paper. Ordering it today so I can try this. Thank You!
@@LoriF25403 awesome! And thank you so much 💕
Thank you so much for sharing your process with us. It’s amazing.
I have been mesmerized by your paintings! I have tried it with just watercolor and watercolor paper and I like the effect. I can't wait to get the materials to do it the right way.
@@phyllisholmes9178 that’s awesome! I love hearing that!!
