You are instructed to get your bags and start moving away from the following cities: Manila, Quezon, and Caloocan. Head straight to NINOY AQUINO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT for the evacuation procedure being initiated by the US government.

yeah, and if it is the scp foundation doing this, they would probably list it as serial kill too. who would believe in a shadow-monster?
@@dreamingclouddreams2981 Not to sound so “matter of fact”-ly, but the scp foundation wouldn’t draw attention to it, but rather just hide it and keep it local.

As an full blooded Filipino, this is actually cool representing the folklore in the Philippines. Cheers to this and Happy Independence Day to my fellow countrymen.
edit: oh god this racked up some attention as a thank you, here's some information on the creatures depicted on the alert. "aswangs" are usually other types of monsters, ghouls, undead, vampires, white ladies, or anything that resembles an scary looking creature. these monsters are folklore particularly and mostly in the provinces here in the philippines. i could be wrong but that's what i've heard from the people here. those creatures can be literally anything, animals, people you name it. also these folklore vary from province to province, some locals even stating that they stumble upon these creatures. that's filipino mythology i guess.

I absolutely love these videos. I will say that the use of the word "fathom" around 6:48 feels off. I don't know if the government would fully admit to being that lost or confused. Maybe "determined" or "discovered"
The reason this is such a tiny nitpick is because on the whole this video is really great. It's an entirely different way to consume SCP content and it feels almost like the next evolution for the genre. I'm excited to see more

Bro, thank you very much for making this Emergency Alert System scenario because I am from the Philippines, please give peace on this planet!
Best one I've seen yet, love how your vids always makes it in the POV of a Government seeing it for the first time.
Very creative! I love it how you implemented native folk legend in there with the Naswang, makes it even more interesting and have more depth!
What I really like about this series - as it has improved over the months - is that you're doing all the right things in proper order. Declaring a state of emergency (and instructing people to keep watching), giving immediate actions (like evacuating an area or barricading a door), providing secondary advice, and then describing the anomaly more physically. These aspects make it feel incredibly real, like an actual agency has game planned these scenarios and created the warning.
This is the first time I see Philippines being represented in any SCP-related stuff. Thank you!
Hey bro, if you plan on making more SCP EAS videos, i got a quick tip:
Within the SCP universe, the FBI has a branch to try and understand the Anomalous like the SCP Foundation. It's called the UIU (Unusual Incidence Unit) and in short terms is the annoying little brother who wants to play with the big boys and follows them around
taken from what things jack bright cant do at all
its specifically in the leading mtf against uiu, (insert explanation)
and then scp foundation goes full scp 5000 on them decides to murder the world
These are a lot of fun and generally well made!
However my only main complaint is the informal, narrative, or conversational tones the EASs take at random points that really detract from the tone of an EAS and its ominous formality
My main complaint is getting these reccomended at 1 am and getting hooked on them
yeah, not only is it not realistic, but it kind of takes the whole fear of the unknown out of it. still well made though
everyones a critic.
@@marioplumber3378 criticism is good though. The creator takes the criticism into account and you can see it in his newer videos.
It’s correct, too. EAS broadcasts have a very specific wording and are usually succinct, informal, and extremely simple as to be easy to understand. The better these videos can mimic actual EAS broadcasts the creepier they can be.
@@gerbinsonI agree, glad he had remedied this in his newer videos
Dude these EAS alerts give me fucking chills down my spine and goosebumps, it actually looks like it's real
I like how it evolves from super skilled killer to mythical creature that can teleport and is harmed by light, also you all can be sure that a creature like this is some bullshit because they all just so happen to have it out for the most intelligent life form, like it just looks at all the other mammals and just says “what’s good”, but nah if you’re a human you’re dead, yeah, we’re too smart for our own good guys
I feel like realistically, they will try to communicate the information but keep the breach as a last resort.
Maybe you can try to amend these warnings to show how the SCP foundation tries to cover up the existence of anomalies e.g. instead of describing the SCP they write the precautions off as the “killer’s motif” and sightings as “hallucinogens” or a suit of the criminal.
in this case, the killer would be reported to have photophobia or some other condition that would affect them with any contact of light.
Though in that case, people would be MUCH more likely to try and attack the ‘criminal’ since its a criminal, instead of an anomaly.
Dang this is awesome! I loved the eas tone in the beginning, BTW keep up the awesome work
I really appreciate the effort put into these with the realistic feel and the loads of spooky information on the situation also this guy seems really nice.
I like SCPs being reported clueless governments, it really adds another layer of fear and I love it. Please never stop making these.
Your EAS always bring a shimmer to my life!!! A quite exquisite illustration that adds to the eerie atmosphere and amazing topic!!!! Such a great channel!!!

The sound of the voice is so much better and realistic in this one. As effective as a scary sounding, distorted voice is it is more realistic that they would want their message as understandable as possible

I'm addicted to your videos, such quality of visuals and vibe, also loving the new voice, more akin to something that would be used in real life, clinical and clear sounding. Just a suggestion, the "X days later" card kinda breaks inmersion and tension, I would suggest doing it in a subtler yet more noticeable way in the introduction cards, like using a bigger/brighter font in the date and time or reciting it out loud along every introduction so the passing of time is obvious. If you need someone to look over your scripts for I'd really want to. Hell, I'll even do it for free!
I really like these videos. The visuals are GREAT and you can capture that scary feeling of a massive disaster that not even massive governments can contain.
But there's always either strange wording or illogical storytelling. Like here, why specifically the US embassy and specifically warnings to US citizens? Is the monster only attacking americans? Second, the text to speech (TTS) of the emergency warning channel, which usually are pretty scientific and objective in what they tell the populous, jumps pretty quickly to it being something supernatural, but then switches back to "there is little scientific data", WHILE IN THE SAME WARNING they use witness reports, well documented accounts of incidents from law enforcement, AND SECURITY FOOTAGE!
It's things that just hinder me from being fully sucked into the world you've created, but as I said before these videos are GREAT otherwise
Hope you have a good day!
yeah i think it’s too humanized, too much like a conversation. that’s my only gripe though
It’s only addressed to American citizens because it’s an American EAS broadcast.
@@Suo_kongque The US version is called Emergency Alert System, meanwhile the Philippines equivalent is the Emergency Cell Broadcast System.
These systems are funded and controlled by the local government and aren't issued by embassies as a EAS is meant to warn the public in its entirety. In the video they are specifically sending out a warning on foreign media infrastructure, addressing just American citizens and never explaining if there are other alerts for other embassies or if/why the warning only applies to American citizens
The first emergency alert is specifically directed to american citizens, when it's thought to just be a human killer. It doesn't make much sense as it would be way more effective to just let the Philippines mobile system send out its warnings in both Philippino and English (because it is the international standard), of course unless the killer was specifically targeting american citizens
I agree. It would be a lot of work but if you want more conversational bits save that for new reports, you know like when the local news is on a story but its just a clip of the event or a witness talking about it with text crawl and a station logo
What's even more realistic is that I'm on vacation in the philippines myself.
stay safe 😥
This one seems really powerful at first, but just turn on all the lights and you’re fine.
I love that at first it was assumed to be something normal like a serial killer at first before the thing got descovered

I love these videos, I keep re-watching these and I realize the story and effort; like the broadcasts progressively become worse and worse as if like a pandemic ❤❤😊😊
that dude on tiktok with the worlds brightest flash light really be the enemy of this monster
I love these videos, and I'd like to share my thoughts about the execution. Assuming these are televised and streamed, it's important to remember that all this info presented is actually likely a fraction of what the actual local department is recieving, potentially. The SCP foundation is stingy with information, because it means either a lot of NDAs for government officials, or a lot of amnesthics lost on covering sensitive information up. On a related note, in the event that an anomaly is reported in it's full reality bending detail, the SCP Foundation would likely force governments to set up checkpoints for those affected to administer amnesia-inducing chemicals or something similar. Knowledge of any anomaly has to be strictly contained, or at the very least throttled to the point no one believes any who escape their attempts to wipe the memory of it.
Additionally, warnings would likely prefer not to describe anomalies with wording implying it's specifically supernatural. Likely, it would be described as "otherworldly" or "anomalous". Relations to folklore would be either omitted or mentioned in passing or as a witness statement.
I think a good way to think these alerts up going forward would be to ask yourself how much information the SCP foundation would be willing to share with local authorities, and additionally how those authorities would react. How much propaganda or coverup would there be in this state/contury? Would there be multiple languages on display? Depending on the length of this alert, people only tuning in half way might be missing key information, so at what point would a summary or repeat of key information be most likely to catch most people up? How much info is too much? Where is a point in a situation where the barrier of secrecy breaks down fully and the SCP Foundation is forced to provide full details, and how much panic would that cause in the affected department?
Beyond this being a horror series, it is ultimately warnings issued by people, to protect people.
This series is already amazing, but if you want to reach further realism, consider the people behind these messages and the reasonable fear they may also feel about the situation. Beyond being just informational warnings, these are calls to action, rallies. In bad situations, these warnings might even have encouraging words, because they may end up being the only motivation some may receive, and need to keep going.
"Be safe, stay calm." "Seek help, it will be provided." "Stay strong."
It's a call to the individual in the end, even if it's broadcasted to the masses!
Amazing critiques on the video!
Ahh! The Philippines I see! I'm glad to see my own country on my favorite kind of videos
The best thing about this is the SCP foundation doesn’t either: Reveal it’s an anomaly ( at first at least, they tried- ), and doesn’t reveal the foundations main goals, and or what it’s doing.
As a full blooded Filipino, thanks for making this take place in Philippines. I also find it really cool how you added the aswang into it and I find it hilarious how the voice couldn’t properly pronounce it.😂
Ik this was 6 months ago but timestamp pls?
with videos well made like these i’m surprised you don’t have 100k+ subscribers
(but really though, I love your videos!)
as a filipino person you do not know how happy this made me getting a filipino based video from my fav content creator
This being setting in the Philippines is really nice and the Mentions of Some Mythical Folklore Creatures like an Aswang fits You did ur research nicely.
This actually scared me keep on the good work!
It would be cool if you made one where they actually contained the threat and talked about repairs and damages, just a thought.
Keep up the great work!
Love what you do with the eas style videos!
When you find and use the worlds most biggest flashlight: *scp 280 is killed by light*
This seems more like someone telling a story and not an EAS alarm. An EAS alarm wouldn't be like... telling the entire story of how a lone man saw the creature, his reactions to it, what he said it looked like, and how he said he would have been ripped apart if not for his torch? Those facts would be there, but not in fun storytime form, they'd be presented as flat facts.
