    Wowed growing up in Ghana
    We enjoyed that together with mushrooms from the fell down palm trees and after palm wine is taped and finished

    We used to hunt for akokono in the palm forest when i visit my elder brother in Ashanti Region during vacations.

    I've never tasted the palm larva before.. ...but I hear it's tasty especially with ampesie
