Everything about it. I love the warm feelings and the colors, I love the story, the actors and the lighthearted atmosphere. It resembles how much Watson thinks he can fool his readers, though even in canon people can notice he is deeply in love with Holmes! I don't know if this reference was intentional, but it surely carries the weight of more than 30 years of gay victorian subtext... And I love it!

I absolutely ADORE this movie and loved Ken Bolden as Watson. What a wonderful portrayal. I think that coming forward with Holmes & Watson as an aging couple works so well because the performances are so strong. It really breathes a fun feeling of life into the roles and I'm sure I will be revisiting this film. It is just wonderful fun. Congratulations to everyone involved on such an excellent project!
