I have a microbrute it has got a wonderful tone and is surprisingly flexible for such a basic monosynth. I like running external signals through the filter, you can keep the gate open by connecting the gate out to gate in and triggering a note.

I wish I had a tape 4-track. Digital is perfect, yes. Recording on tape is fun, more hand-on, and can get a great retro sound.
