Chrissy your stew looks delicious. You should be proud of the boy's photos they are so handsome. I hope avery gets better soon. She has such a mild disposition and could even smile with a cold. Trust me that would not be me. Bless her heart.
Your boys are so handsome. The photos are gorgeous. So often school photos arent the best. Add chef to your many talents. Love the dumplings in your stew. I think I will do that next time i make a stew. Oh Avery you poor baby. I cant imagine how bad you must be feeling. Hopefully the cough will ease up. Im sad for you having to miss nursery.Would a cough supressant help? Hope you are feeling much better Crissie. Xx
Thank you ❤️ the dumplings make the stew 🥰 Avery is still coughing like mad 😞 cough medicine wouldn’t help apparently because those medicines work by soothing the throat and averys medicine goes straight to her stomach xx
Crissie, your stew looks delicious…and your boys are so handsome..great picture of them. When I saw you the title about the antibiotics not working and Avery is still not doing well, my heart sank. I immediately said a prayer for her and for you. So glad you are doing better. I can not believe have chill Avery is while feeling poorly…she is such a cutie and once again her sweet smile melted my heart. God be with you.
I sure hope this round of Amoxicillin will clear up Avery's illness. Poor girl, she sounds so miserable. The school pictures of the boys came out so well. They really are very handsome! Take care. I will be praying for Avery to feel better.🩵🙏👓
She may have a virus such as RSV which could explain why her symptoms have persisted. However, you can have a continued cough for weeks after an infection. I hope she is doing better. Having CF myself, I am well acquainted with coughing until you vomit. It's bad enough as an adult with a MD, it must be terrible for the both of you, especially with her risk of aspiration. Sorry this just came up in my feed and maybe she already was tested for RSV. I am very impressed by your medical literacy as well as your calmness and patience in this difficult journey that nothing could have prepared you for. Maybe they can have you do a sputum culture if she is still ill which would tell them what she might have and what the appropriate antibiotic s are. Normally in the US we wait about 2 weeks if someone is ill before giving the flu vaccine. It cannot cause flu but the immune reaction from it can make you feel worse if you are already ill. You may also ask your physio about chest percussion which after a nebulizer treatment can help her to mobilize any thick mucus out of her lungs to help her clear her airways. Apologies for any unwanted/unnecessary information .❤
You could film ur normal day to day amd I would watch... I try to not watch like 4 videos in row so that I can save them mad listen to them as I clean... ur very motivating... u just are!!❤❤
I just went through two weeks of misery in the hospital myself and had to be given serious antibiotics for a bloodstream infection that developed during my stay there . I had to have a picc put in so I could finish my course of treatment at home and got it removed just yesterday and yet I'm still struggling to get back to normal even nearly a week after discharge. Hopefully your daughter will have an easier time in her recovery. ❤
Very handsome looking boys, Sounds like boys not knowing were to looking for things. I am glad you are feeling better Crissie. Avery, i mightily dislike when you are poorly. However i am glad mummy kept you home from nursery. Hope you are seeing improvements with Averys coughing.
Poor little Avery is having such a hard time fighting this cough. How are you feeling? The boys look so handsome in their school pictures. You have such a beautiful family. ❤️🇨🇦
Retired pediatric nurse here. Doesn't Avery also get put on probiotics with her antibiotics? It would help with the explosive poo and boost her immune system. And the boys pictures are magnificent!

Hi I hope avery is feeling better soon! I’ve got this awful cold and cough and two ear infections to boot and I have epilepsy and mild cerebral palsy myself so understand how important not getting more ill is. Hopefully all of this goes away soon xxx
Good to hear you’re on the mend. Some of Avery’s coughs sounded a bit like croup especially if it’s worse later in the day. If so getting her to breathe in a steamy atmosphere like in a steamy bathroom might help?
Hi Chrissy how are you feeling now? So sorry Avery is still struggling with the cough. I think you did the right thing to get back in touch with the doctors. Fingers crossed she gets some relief soon. Her chest must be really hurting bless her xx
@@mummyandavery I imagine it's not easy seeing her sick but you're doing everything you can to make her as comfortable as possible and I'm sure she appreciates that xx
You are correct the boys school pictures were precious and great photographer as well, they look so happy and healthy. My daughter had cdif for 18 months when she was little after lots of antibiotics. Her poor little bottom. The only thing that saved her poor sore bot was painting her bot with egg white, letting it dry before the nappy went back on. It forms a waterproof surface on the skin. Antibiotic poop is so caustic.Old wives remedy, but after buying every bum cream on the market,l saved her skin with egg white x
Sudacrem works pretty well, I feel like i use it for everything 😂 I will definitely have to keep the egg white trick in mind though I’ve not heard of this before xx
Avery sounds like my daufhter when she had whooping cough..she has ashama and was in a room with a boy who wasn't vaxed and he had it and she got it...took 2 hospital's to figure it out she couched so hard and vomited so hard the whites of her eyes were bloody from the vessels bursting....give her the nuberlizer every 3 hours and pat her back with it to help break up the mucus. ....so glad you are feeling better...the boys are little princes! I love uniforms for school. I wish our schools wore them.
@mummyandavery the true test to see if it's croup which is worse at night. Take her on car ride with the window down. Seriously, I had daughter who got croup a lot. If it stops the coughing, it's croup. We also filled the bathroom with steam, that can work also. You can just stand outside with her and see if she gets better. My daughter would clear up in about 15 minutes. The first time we took her to the er, she was fine when we arrived and I though "how embarrassing " but the doctor explained it was probably croup. Well wishes to you and your baby. Croup can be dangerous if it's not bei g relieved. The secretions are thick and with her history of aspiration, you don't want to let it go.
Ugh kids always get sicker a night!!! What is that?! Lol ! Do you guys have suction at home? And do you do chest pyscio? I hear these really help kids similar to Avery with their needs. @mummyandavery and she is on round 3 of Amoxcillin for the pneumonia? I would suggest another xray of lungs to see if what stage it is at and more bloodwork to check WBC etc. Dr's will know what else to check. Perhaps virus is fungal which would need a diff antibiotic. Or just a stronger antibiotic bc Amoxcillin isn't working.
