There are great players like Pele, R9, Zidane etc. But Messi and CR7 are the two greatest players of all time, no doubt about it. No one has ever come close to matching their consistency. They've played at such a incredibly high level for years, and Messi is still unbelievably only 27. Where as Ronaldo is 30 now, but has changed and adapted his game and he's still scoring a tonne of goals and breaking records even though he has lost a bit of pace and dribbling. It's an endless debate between which one is better, it's everyone's personal opinion even though I do have a slight preference to Messi. It's such a joy to watch these two legends play and define football forever.

Ronaldo and Messi are great and we should stop arguing but if I have to choose one... I would go with Messi because he is more consistent and you can rely on him more than you can rely on Ronaldo. Ronaldo's form is declining because he doesn't get passed players as much as he used to. Ronaldo does common skills which need a lot of practice to learn because they are hard but Messi's dribbles look easy but they are the hardest thing to do... trust me. I've tried to play like both players on a pitch and I have realised that Messi's dribbles are harder to do than Ronaldo's skills and dribbles. Ronaldo trained hard to be what he is today but God gave Messi that wonderful talent which I don't think we would ever see again but... lets stop arguing and enjoy these two great players.
