I hate to admit it, cause I personally like it, but it does deserve what hate it gets. If it fired twice as fast, cost half as much, and wasn't active for such randomly inconsistent times (sometimes it's a whole firefight, sometimes you can be standing in front of 3 enemies and it turns off after two hits), I think it'd be fine. It's got a couple things going for it as it is, since it can stun a good amount of enemies in the game for a second, and the red laser eyes can help you figure out if an enemy is behind you, but other than that, disappointment :(
I personally put it a tier lower than the bottom and have the tier above it empty due to it literally being worse than literally having nothing based on the price, basically the fact that it exists and costs bolts let alone 1,000,000 means that it existing is a hinderance since without it there will be a missing slot in the weapons menu and as a result you end up having to buy and god forbid use the thing to get a fully upgraded weapons menu, that and the fact using it actually tends to lower your dps due to having to navigate the menu and it interrupting enemies hitstun from better weapons or even just the wrench which has better dps.
Deadlocked Holoshield probably got slept on. Most of that game revolves around defending your bots while they do something slowly and enemies in Deadlocked have no issue with zoning them from across the map.
@@omfg322 I mean.... If you can get close enough. Those are both mid-range at best, and in the case of the harbinger low ammo. Talking about dodging and avoiding damage is all well and good. Simply not having to because you have a weapon that turns damage off is better.
It really sucks that the PS3 release of Deadlocked f-ed over the fact that enemies took damage when they collided with it. One of my favorite strategies for the Endzone challenge was just throwing shields in the path of enemies, throwing the shock mod on the shield, and letting them collide with it to kill them. You can't do that on the PS3 because there's no collision damage, and it makes it harder to level because of that too. Enemies took a lot of damage from it if they ran into it, but in the PS3 one, you HAVE to block shots to get any use out of it and to level, and unless you're up against a turret, it'll take forever to do so- On PS2, though, easily one of the most useful shields in the series because it's ONLY time based. It can take an infinite amount of damage until that time runs out.
Also what was pointed out by both me & OneEyedKingNL at 50:55; there’s a golden version of the Groovitron you can get in Tools of Destruction, which was literally an INFINITE ammo of Groovitrons. The whole game just cracks like a freakin egg when you have it.
ohhh so that's how the [skill point for making every enemy dance] works otherwise it'd be impossible right? because you can't find a gadget vendor in ever planet I think?
The main thing I remember about the Holoshield Launcher in Deadlocked is using it in that mission where they just send a billion Swarmers at you and filling the air with so many bolts that it actually crashed the game.
Bruh Merc and Green were some of the best characters in Deadlocked. Synthenoids aside, they really set the tone for what was going on and had great dynamics together
Honestly I think in terms of damage the Quack-O-Ray from UYA is SS tier, it's borderline broken. The only downsides are it stops shooting when you jump and its range isn't the best, but once that thing is fully upgraded and you get the fire bird that attacks other enemies, with all the ducks also homing on enemies and exploding it's just so OP, much more so than the Sheepinator in GC.
I’m really glad you put the Harbinger where it belongs. A lot of people knock on deadlocked and downplay the harbinger for not being a “true” ryno but that shit completely erases everything with RAINBOW LASER BEAMS FROM THE SKY and actually paints the ground in burn marks for a while and I love it. I agree with almost everything on this list!
The Harbinger is literally you called own a laser arsenal strike that ruptures through everything and I MEAN everything. This is in my opinion the MOST fun I have ever had with a Ryno, putting it leagues above any other RYNO
Spiral of Death's main weakness is that you have to WAIT for the discs to return to you. When it upgrades and you can shoot 3 at a time, what'd often happen is that one of them gets stuck on something and then you have to wait on that disc to return to you before you can fire again. And I say this with it being my single favourite weapon.
Not to mention its free. I always hated the blade weapons so i wasnt hopefull when i saw it, but after using it i think it deserves s teir. You can shoot diagonally while walkin the other direction and you get a massive range where the blades come back an can save you from an incoming attack.
If this tierlist included full potential Deadlocked weapons like it does for other games, many of the weapons would be in much higher tiers. Dual Vipers on D is just utterly fucking ridiculous. Also I fucking like the Chopper. I love the way it arcs and flies towards the enemy without missing. Very satisfying.
Yeah, for real. The Deadlocked slander is real. I'd even go so far as to say that the Deadlocked equivalents of most of the usual weapon types are the best in the series if you mod them right.
You're so mistaken about the Glove of Doom in Rift Apart. You can take down a Grunthor in mere seconds by letting a dusin of bots gnaw at it, and they last for several minutes and follow you around, they even teleport to you if they can't walk directly. One of my favorite weapons from the game, vastly improved from the original game.
For the curious: you have to throw the mine and then press square during the animation. On your screen you don't wrench; but on the server side you do, blowing up the mine. You have to throw 4 mines in a zig-zag N shape to crash everyone else. Btw that's how you get infinite mines, you can just keep throwing them. As long as you don't zig-zag you won't freeze everyone's PS2 lol
I think it's 'cause it goes from a more traditional RYNO firing style to the screen nuke. I admit, I didn't like the change as a kid especially compared to the RYNO 2. But when you also realize that the lasers vaporize things they touch before the flash, it kinda has the best of both worlds.
JHO i just realised your vids are actually pretty recent! I dna why but I've been hit with a wave of RAC nostalgia...it started with listening to one OST (maktar nebula...boss fight) and now im this deep in the rabbit hole and found ur content to keep me nice and snug. Thnx 4 that man. I'm even prepping to download a ps3 emulator and to pickup where I left off with the RaC series!
Ryno 4 is insane, it's orders of magnitude better than the fifth, it kills the final boss 10 times faster than the fifth. Ryno 4 is extremely Broken, you shoot it mindlessly and it kills everything insanely fast
@@kev1nno to be fair, ryno 5 is fun to use against big hordes of enemies, but against bosses, it just made me wanna kill myself while I was seeing how it legit didn't do any damage. I'm pretty sure it's the worst Ryno against bosses, by far, which can be quite unpleasant
@@fernandogomez8030 I can second this, using RYNO V against bosses like Nefarious and Azimuth felt way less impactful than any other RYNO would. On higher difficulties I would just use the RYNO with my normal weapons because it just does that little damage compared to the boss's HP (especially Azimuth cause he's absurdly spongy for a final boss, funny cause same year another game that came out, inFamous, also had an incredibly spongy final boss).
Yeah I agree. I think people kind of forgot about the weapon because it went away from the original, classic and memorable RYNO formula of "shoots a bunch of really strong homing rockets" and instead it just vomits lasers everywhere (which also have some lock-on ability IIRC). It shoots like 25 lasers per second and normal size enemies die in like 1-2 hits. You pick up ammo for it all the time. I consider it the strongest weapon in the series from all the R&C games I played (which was up to ACiT) and it's not even close. Easy SSS tier weapon.
@@VrOOm1337 I totally agree, easily the strongest weapon in the series, the reason it isn't acknowledge as much as it deserves probably is bc ppl don't care for this game nearly as much as others such as the original trilogy or ACIT, thus, he put easily the worst RYNO in the entire series (easily worse than the one in All 4 one), the RYNO 5, over the RYNO 4
hey Xem i just wanna let you know that i love your content. Ratchet and Clank is my favorite game series ever since i was a kid, and i love speedrunning. you’re one of my favorite Ratchet and Clank content creator. keep up the awesome work dawg. also i really wish RaC was more popular because i love it so much and i want to see more of it
Shock ravager grinds raritarium like no other weapon. There's a certain island on Sargasso that has a spawn spot for a ton of anklebiters, you can kill them all in one whip hit for a really good amount of the shiny crystals.
Happy to see my boy the Plasma Coil so high. Personally I like the glove of doom/Agents of doom weapons (I haven't played Rift Apart but boy I want to). Particularly I like RaC 1 Glove of doom as some extra fire support since I can't strafe during an engagement without the thruster pack. But I can see how being at a higher skill level with the games makes them less attractive. I'm a pretty casual player
Discovering this years later as my need for R&C has resurfaced. I’ve tried All-4-One on like 6 different occasions and have never been able to finish it.
I will never forget that as a kid, I somehow had enough bolts to buy the zodiac... like really early on that shipping planet...looking back I can't believe I didn't buy the RYNO II
me who only play Ratchet 2 - 3 - 4 in he old days . yeah, that seems right. RYNO 2 and HARBINGER deserve the spot . those 2 weapon are the main source of fun when you visit the game again when you finish the whole story
Chopper Chris here. I actually think the Chopper holds up more than the Lancer in the early game (which is ironic since it's obtained after), but falls off, yes. You don't necessarily have to aim the gun at enemies, it can bounce off of walls whilst you ZR spam forward. The upgrade falls off after the Siberius boss (which it shreds btw). However I think for RaC2's early game, it's consistantly my most used weapon.
I agree with the Warmonger being so high but only because of the ITN, 2016 and Rift Apart versions. In A4O it's the strongest weapon but also has pitiful ammo, so I found the Plasmabomb more effective in almost every scenario, and in FFA it gets even less ammo and does basically piss all damage after expending all its ammo - again, Plasmabomb does way better. But in ITN it's busted as you don't even have to aim the thing, and in Rift Apart it's busted when combined with the Cold Snap, big agree there

WM is 3 times better than the PBL in FFA. We don't even get to use the PBL when speedrunning and the WM is the weapon we use the most. In multiplayer it's even worse: WM is often an auto win.
I think you're way too harsh on the Glove of Doom , should be in high C tier at least. In RA you can throw out like 20 of them at once and they will just eviscerate every ground level enemy super quick. Their explosion also does hurt enemies, you can dump raritanium into making the damage higher and radius larger. Also I played Nexus for the first time like 2 weeks before RA came out and I think the RYNO 7 was just a better RYNO 5 with better accuracy, deserves to be in S tier imo.
The RA Glove of Doom is actually insane, though! You can spam out everything and at max level they just kill everything over and over again and they follow you until they explode to do mega damage!
I’d say the decoy glove and the taunter are slightly better casually than you gave them credit for, but only because even casual players need to clip through walls so they can farm bolts on rilgar with the taunter. It’s insane how much you need to buy the ryno, all the weapons and all the gold upgrades in the first game, when compared to how many bolts you actually get just playing the game normally.
@@TheArmskillerV2 how are you gonna get out of bounds onto the track then? I guess you could just do the races on repeat, but even casually, it’s just easier to get out of bounds
Nice tier list! Tho Dual Vipers, Holoshield Launcher and Mini Turret Launcher are quite underrated, rest is pretty accurate imo. When you get shock mod you can fire 1 or 2 Dual Vipers bullets out of like 200 to 300-ish ammo to clear all weaker enemies around you and stun medium enemies for a moment. You can also kinda stun-lock all non-vehicle enemies with the freeze mod the same way as you'd inevitably, safely kill with the Plasma Whip in UYA. Bullets also split when leveled up, affecting multiple enemies while richocheting around the surroundings for free stray kills/damage. The fire rate / damage output also isn't bad considering it's a free starter weapon and it has really long range. Lvls up fast too. Dual Vipers got quite a lot of utility/various uses, especially early to mid game. The Fusion Rifle kinda makes them obsolete, but if you're out of Fusion Rifle ammo, they can still do the job of killing most enemies from a distance. I don't remember other pistol weapons able to almost full-screen stun/K.O all small to medium enemies with a few bullets for which I'd put the Vipers in top B-tier at least, probably lower A. The Holoshield Launcher is quite good in certain missions and in the OG PS2 version they hit really hard when enemies touch them. Also infinite shield HP. You can put down 3 of them and not worry about projectiles for like 15-20 seconds, it's crazy. When leveled up they also fire back at enemies and hit pretty hard. You also get this weapon early game afaik before you've got the firepower to wipe out all enemies so fast you won't have to worry about enemy projectiles. Probably mid B-tier. The Mini Turret Launcher shreds all enemies and bosses on its own when leveled up. Imo best turret weapon in all of Ratchet damage/ammo/accuracy-wise. You put down 5 of them and won't have to worry about enemies for another 2-3 waves, even on Exterminator difficulty. With freeze mod they both stun-lock and kill all enemies around you. xD This weapon is like Hunter Mine Launcher but better because it just keeps going. Easily bottom S-tier. imo the only real bad weapon in that game is the B6 Obliterator. (Check this video for reference ruclips.net/video/I3y9Rsachr0/видео.html ) Dual Vipers getting more work done than the max level Magma Cannon is kinda interesting.
I think the b6 gets a worse rep than it really deserves. In that vid you linked dude only had 6 shots in his b 6. With ammo mods i think it goes to 20. I usually run 14 to 16 and load up on speed mods and it really aint bad. The magma cannon is great early but falls off later while b6 sucks until you get alpha mods.
The groovytron is extremely OP in TOD because if you play the game on NG+ and go to the device vendor in the gelatunium factory. You can buy the golden groovytron for 3 or 2 million raritanium. It's like the groovytron but with infinite ammo of it and it has explosion damage that's pretty decent. So yeah it IS arguably the most CRACKED weapon in the game. And low-key imo the shield could be the second most OP weapon in the entire series in terms of defensive potency. The "Ryno" In deadlocked with the Ryno2 are equally placed in my heart
I think you are underrating the mine glove. It is practically just the bomb glove but can home in on enemies. Especially with RaC 1's lack of strafe, I would say it is actually more useful than the bomb glove in at least 70% of circumstances. The damage is also solid as well, it isn't like it does nothing. At the very least, it should be C tier, up to A tier considering UYA multiplayer.
I know you said Rift Apart might be your new favorite in the series, and I think I agree. What was your favorite until now? Have you done a tier list for the games?
You know what? It is time for my subscribe 😅 keep up the amazing work, greetings from germany ❤ Ps: haven't played rift apart yet 😭 Pps: i hope the stupid Tornado thing from Tools of destruction is in the clank zapper categorie just because you cant turn off six-axis for weapons😂
Clank Zapper!!!! I forgot about that abysmal PoS lmao!! I remember being like, 3/4 playthroughs deep as a kid and realizing "Oh, I have all weapons done except this. Shit." And it being able to kill like, nothing."
The hunter mine launcher is absurdly fun just because of it's upgrade plus the mini bomb mod. Basically the stalker mine launcher launches mines that split into more mines and then the mini bomb mod makes the mines spit out even more bombs. Fun as fuck
Hmm I believe you might be underestimating how much "I'm gonna throw this down and just have some damage happen" weapons appeal to us casuals.. At least I would overuse glove of doom and miniturrets to no end. They might not be great dps wise, but you can change to another weapon while they're still active. Especially of what I have seen of it in Rift Apart the Doombots follow you forever so you can just load into a map throw theese guys down and go on with your day, having an army of biters take care of smaller stuff or distracting bigger stuff while you take care of the bigger enemies. Then again I haven't actually played it so maybe I'm missing something
the damage output of the turrets in Deadlocked is something he hugely overlooks. A battery of them turns every boss fight into a joke while you jump around like an airborne chimpanzee avoiding all their damage while watching their HP melt.
I’ve found that the best and only use of the Visibomb in RaC2 is to scout through the Tabora desert and Grelbin arctic to find where tf the remaining crystals n shit are
Of course not, that's what RaC is all about is firepower. They did such a great job making so many weapons memorable. The only ones I don't remember much of are the ones in the games I barely played like ToD and SM.
agree, especially on RaC 1 where there is too much dangerous ennemies behind the wall, you just throw them all and watch the work being done, it's so practical
Ahhh, OG RYNO. I got it on first playthrough because as a child I was so incompetent that I ended up grinding bolts in between attempts at the water section and bought the RYNO.
1:06:30 The Holo-shield launcher once glitched out on me. I had it with the polymorph mod for some reason, walked through it and it turned me into a duck. This was on the map that was loads of asteroids spaced apart. After I got morphed I fell off the map and died and lost all of my weapons. Turns out the game put them in a weapon pack like in multiplayer on the point that I hit the death plane. Weird shit.
Wouldn't it make sense if plasma whip gave the idea for Scorpion flail? Another melee weapon, just increased in power/usefulness. Not as elegant as whip but cool in having the brute force of just smashing everything around
Its true, that was also my casual strat for the annihilation nation 100 wave gauntlet. However you have to dance around that shield with the enemy and I sometimes just got randomly hit while trying to heal up so I had to reastart the whole process again. It also breaks to fast for you to be comfortable behind it late game, getting into cover is usually a much better idea I used the heck out of it back when I played the game but its probably a casual pitfall more than anything and actually using the great guns you have access to is a better (and less time consuming/frustration inducining) strategy
Speaking of Ratchet 1 weapons and their weakness in Ratchet 2... I did a while back ago RaC1 weapons only playthrough in Going Commando. Beginning and middle parts were fun but the end game was just pure nightmare. In Yeedil one enemy ship requires 20 Visibomb shots to get destroyed. In Grelbin I even couldn't kill Leviathans with Visibomb, stopped trying after 50 shots. That's kind a sad but hilarious at the same time
@@sicknick4736 Well, the DPS is pretty much the lowest in the game (maybe the visibomb) and the only enemies it one shots are the smaller enemies. It may actually take two shots to kill the blade things in the arena lmao
Deadlocked had the best and funnest weapons to use of all the OG 4 ps2 games. The leviathan flail sends earth eruptions across the ground for almost infinite duration. It’s a true long range melee weapon
Agree, best thing about deadlockeds arsenal is that all the weapons are fun to use and then you can add mods to them to make them more obsurd. Love mines with the lava mod to just cake bosses in magma haha
@@mahaok1 the alpha mods were what really did it for me. When i learned you can jus put 6 speed mods 2 area and 2 ammo mods the scorpion flail simply became unstopable. You can use an impact mod to stun guys or jus stack speed mods and swing faster. The mods allow b6 to become ight if you put jus speed an ammo mods. Same with dual.vipers. the mods the game give you arent the best. You want one aiming mod and maybe one impact and a mix of speed and ammo mods. You could jus put a bunch of impact and you keep enemies stunlocked forever. The sniper only needs ammo and speed.
I skipped the Rift Apart section when I first watched this video, since I hadn't played it yet, finally played it last year and just came across this video again: Yeah, the Cold Snap is just unbelievably OP, you get a few small enemies around one big one and those fragments will annihilate the big one, I almost freaked out when I saw you defend the Bombardier before you realized you mixed it up with the bomb glove type weapon. The glove of doom was only useful in the 2016 game, and even then only when they got the jump packs, the Rift Apart version was trash. I thought the Mr Fungi was ok, not brilliant, but far more useful that any support weapon since the Synthenoids in Going Commando. The Negatron Collider LOOKS like it should be just as effective as the Alpha Disruptor in Tools and Quest, but its damage is lackluster at best, like it's not a "bad" weapon, but it feels and looks like it SHOULD be more powerful. Honestly I appreciate the Easter Egg potential of the RYNO VIII, but its damage isn't really impressive for how little ammo it has, and sometimes it randomly just won't do any damage, but I do love that they didn't just repeat the RYNO V like the RYNO VII and the 2016 RYNO lazily did.
I was streaming RC2 and said "I bet theres a 3h tier list out there ranking every weapon in the franchise" and I was right, not only is there one, but it is 3h
really dude? laser tracer max upgrade becomes close to ryno in size matters , point it at every boss it is a insta kill not only that it's cool af the sfx and visuals it makes is insane, try it once max upgrade and you see what I mean, the base one sucks ass tho.
I find the static barrier/repulser being a really good shield according to memory. But still. When ever I start a new game. It allways brings a smile to my face whenever I buy the shield charger/ Tesla barrier and the pda.
People looking at RYNO 2 through nostalgia filter. RYNO IV literally is the only weapon needed to beat ToD. Like equip on Kerman NG+ and use it through every single planet to win and you probably won’t even ever run out of ammo. It is the best RYNO
Agree ryno IV is the best but ryno 2 is also top tier, you can sweep any ennemies wave in a second, you have ammos in box, it's super powerful, fast and aim really good, imo it's the 3rd best ryno and perfect balance between power rapidity smoothness and ammos
@@maestrofeli4259 i don't remember why i wrote that lol, actually my top 1 is ryno 4, top 2 ryno 2, top 3 Ryno 1, but objectively ryno 4 have flaws especially when you don't know how to use it properly, such as sh*t vertical / high target system (but still my favourite)
People complaining about RYNO 8 not doing damage to bosses clearly never cold snap > RYNO 8 crit Scolo. I could consistently get him from 70 to 0 in 1-2 shots
The RYNO 8 is not very effective against bosses, but it one-shots nearly all normal enemies in the game. I can only recall one single enemy that can tank the maximum damage: The fully upgraded sniper-bot
Great video! Although i actually preferred last time when you did take speedrun tech into account and showed clips to backup placements. For example, Had you not shown us the bomb glove in rac2 id have never have believe how insane it is. Ofc this wouldve made the video 2 hours longer but still haha 😄
I wanted to try something a bit different with this video, but I also don’t currently have enough knowledge of each speedgame to be able to do that kind of video... Yet :)
1:18:38 when i telling this in the chat i needed to go just after so i'm gonna give some info on this. When you use the cryoshot in R&C FFA on the medium or turret ennemies and you freeze them, use another gun and kill it. in pvp when you use that technique you just up all your weapons in 1 round so 5mn more or less, that work as well in the story mode but take much longer because you need more xp for up them. So maybe 20× time more xp is maybe a lot when i said that i don't know really the real number but it's completly broken for sure all the top player used that

Not that much tho. It's a good technic to upgrade the doppels or the ts as you'd get something like 1.5x more exp by doing that rather than just killing the turrets with those weapons only. Also it's rather rare to be able to upgrade one weapon during the first phase. What's really effective tho is freezing a turret purchased by your enemy. You'd upgrade your weapons 50x times faster... Completely bugged out.
After replaying going commando recently I never realized that the black sheepinator draws enemy aggro, so it's completely overpowered for arenas as once you sheep one enemy the rest either die to that sheep, or distracts the enemies long enough to sheep them too, it snowballs infinitely in the arena so you can save ammo for the bosses at the end.. can't remember if other morphing weapons did that. Also meteor gun is absolutely absurdly broken that even though it's 25k it kills yetis and leviathans basically instantly, the best casual weapon to use when hunting moon stones by far.
the b6 is underwhelming but still underappreciated imo its really good for spreading statuses over a really wide area and kills the shit out of anything below an executioner
The chopper/multi-star isn’t very powerful, but it can be useful as it has great seeking abilities. I was stuck under the ledge in the room on Joba just before the Levitator. I was low on health so I took out the Multi-Star and fired some shots into the ceiling above the ledge and took out all of the enemies.
harbinger is my all time favourite gun in all of the ratch and clank series... I haven't played rift apart though since I don't have a PS5 but I doubt anything from there can beat it in: looks, power, sound or overall feel. The harbinger is just too amazing and I'm not trying to suck up to it, and then you go to the next gun lol so much difference
Decoy gloves is ultra op if well used, just put the decoy on a spot where no ennemy can reach it (which is super easy when you mind a bit) and ennemies will never attack you again, it's really op, decoy gloves is at least S tier it's almost cheating to use it
My fav pick from every RaC game will almost always be it’s rocket launcher. But my favorite rocket launcher is Minirocket Tube/Megarocket Cannon so that’s my #1.
Okay I’m just gonna say it now

Deadlocked Holoshield probably got slept on. Most of that game revolves around defending your bots while they do something slowly and enemies in Deadlocked have no issue with zoning them from across the map.
Not to mention using it makes you basically immortal, and with shock mod you just up and declare that nobody gets to move EVER AGAIN....
Yea it helps out so damn much on hero and exterminator

Enemies took a lot of damage from it if they ran into it, but in the PS3 one, you HAVE to block shots to get any use out of it and to level, and unless you're up against a turret, it'll take forever to do so-
On PS2, though, easily one of the most useful shields in the series because it's ONLY time based. It can take an infinite amount of damage until that time runs out.

3 hours 20 minutes long huh?
I think I just found my next summer project.
Yeah Dual Vipers are S for me
Yeah, for real. The Deadlocked slander is real. I'd even go so far as to say that the Deadlocked equivalents of most of the usual weapon types are the best in the series if you mod them right.
> Fat orange weapon that doesn't do much is the trump gun
You mean the B6 Obliterator?
Scorpion/Leviathan Flail is...orgasmically good.
Easily doubles your damage output in most ground combat situations.
In the words of Nick Astalos: "It's just free damage. Why would you _not_ throw these out?"
In UYA online you could throw mines in a certain pattern and freeze everyone's PS2s

No idea what chat was on about, the UYA's RYNO is crazy. It's a one-shot screen wipe.
I think it's 'cause it goes from a more traditional RYNO firing style to the screen nuke. I admit, I didn't like the change as a kid especially compared to the RYNO 2. But when you also realize that the lasers vaporize things they touch before the flash, it kinda has the best of both worlds.

Ryno 4 is insane, it's orders of magnitude better than the fifth, it kills the final boss 10 times faster than the fifth. Ryno 4 is extremely Broken, you shoot it mindlessly and it kills everything insanely fast
Agreed

I'm a pretty casual player

yeah, that seems right.
Such a fair tier list how you go about it. Great video as always xem

@@charKT-7461 Using one weapon only for slaying a boss get's a bit boring to be fair...
Also I played Nexus for the first time like 2 weeks before RA came out and I think the RYNO 7 was just a better RYNO 5 with better accuracy, deserves to be in S tier imo.
the ammount of creativity that goes into those wapons and the coding that follow is insane tho xd
You don't really need the decoy glove for the Rilgar bolt farm.

With freeze mod they both stun-lock and kill all enemies around you. xD
This weapon is like Hunter Mine Launcher but better because it just keeps going. Easily bottom S-tier.
imo the only real bad weapon in that game is the B6 Obliterator.
(Check this video for reference ruclips.net/video/I3y9Rsachr0/видео.html )
Dual Vipers getting more work done than the max level Magma Cannon is kinda interesting.

LETS GOOO!!!! I’ve been waiting to see this video pop up. I’m glad you did this xem, because this tier list is huge
My favorite up until now was UYA. I’ll be doing a tier list of all the games soon :)

My favourite weapon, the plasma coil, is in S tier and the N60 and Clank Zapper are the bottom 2 weapons. I respect you.
I’ve found that the best and only use of the Visibomb in RaC2 is to scout through the Tabora desert and Grelbin arctic to find where tf the remaining crystals n shit are
Well you have “mapper” gadget for that anyway so Visibomb in R&C2 is useless imo
Is it weird that i remember about 90% of the weapons in the series?

Wouldn't it make sense if plasma whip gave the idea for Scorpion flail? Another melee weapon, just increased in power/usefulness. Not as elegant as whip but cool in having the brute force of just smashing everything around
Imma keep watching, but the Dual Vipers with the shock mod was nuts!!!
I love how the Clank Zapper is just lonely at the bottom
It’s useless someone should do a clank zapper only run
3:00:58 The Holoshield glove is very underated. It can literally leech life from your enemies and give you health. At least C Tier imo.
Its true, that was also my casual strat for the annihilation nation 100 wave gauntlet. However you have to dance around that shield with the enemy and I sometimes just got randomly hit while trying to heal up so I had to reastart the whole process again. It also breaks to fast for you to be comfortable behind it late game, getting into cover is usually a much better idea
I used the heck out of it back when I played the game but its probably a casual pitfall more than anything and actually using the great guns you have access to is a better (and less time consuming/frustration inducining) strategy
The holo shield is also unfortunately in a game with the most broken shield item. The shield charger
That knocks it down a few tiers too
For those who don't know this, the RYNO 3 shoots out a flippin super nova that essentially screen nukes everything on screen at V5 mind you
For me the bouncer was the first weapon I bought that felt like an actual “end game” weapon.
most fun way to play. send out all your support weapons. then choose from your favorite weapons to shoot
@@mahaok1 the alpha mods were what really did it for me. When i learned you can jus put 6 speed mods 2 area and 2 ammo mods the scorpion flail simply became unstopable. Yeah, the Cold Snap is just unbelievably OP, you get a few small enemies around one big one and those fragments will annihilate the big one, I almost freaked out when I saw you defend the Bombardier before you realized you mixed it up with the bomb glove type weapon.

The pulse rifle can kill a dessert dune monster in two shots though, I don't get much else use out of it. But it is useful
True it deals more damage than the mini nuke. Has more ammo. But is single target.
the b6 is underwhelming but still underappreciated imo
its really good for spreading statuses over a really wide area and kills the shit out of anything below an executioner
The chopper/multi-star isn’t very powerful, but it can be useful as it has great seeking abilities. I was stuck under the ledge in the room on Joba just before the Levitator. I was low on health so I took out the Multi-Star and fired some shots into the ceiling above the ledge and took out all of the enemies.
meteor gun with lock on mod is ridic good, it kills the final boss quicker than megarocket
