I stayed at Golden Sea in October, 1000 baht per night including buffet breakfast, pool was good with lots of sun. Very big balcony overlooking the pool, I would recommend it for the price for sure 👍

Well as usual another great video from Darren, he is way the best at doing this in Pattaya, videos are always clear and very honest regardless of if it’s a bar, hotel or club, not like so many others who fill it with loud stupid music and “look at me”, Darren makes all his videos about the subject not him. Stayed at the Honey Inn around 2016 High Season. Was perfect for my needs. The buffet a few doors down you showed was okay, but I liked all the other options on Soi Bukhao and the sailor themed bar/hotel a few doors up towards Bukhao was a solid brekkie choice as well. Thanks, Daz!
At honey Inn you show my room for 14 days in February. Great stay but some issue aircon. Quiet street in night still in middle of city life . Had room with breakfast but was not my taste.... Roof pool with jetstream great place for chill.
Hi Daz i would like to say a big thank you for showing these 4 hotels with a pool. I had previously requested you to make a video of Pattata city centre mid priced hotels. This will come in very handy Daz when i decide to book on agoda in Oct or November 2023. I owe you a beer daz. 😊😊😊
Stayed in 24/7 boutique, the beds are rock hard didn’t sleep a wink. I’ve book the Golders sea this time so thanks for showing me. I arrive next week. Rooms are huge and has a bath which you didn’t really show

Wow ! The 247 really checks the boxes ! Can see why it's more expensive at times but great price during low season. Hope it can stay that because I would really like it as an option when I come in a few months. Of course there will be noise at all of them being city center but I didn;t seem to hear it as much at the 247. Thanks for showing these 1
Great job Daz, thank you, I have stayed at the golden sea , when it opened and a couple of times since, they did have condos at far end from the pool, and the bungalows where available for rent also, the chinese tour groups would swamp the pool for about an hour in the afternoon after returning from day trips. The coaches would be parked leaving the engines running , at pick up and drop off, but I think there is now a bit of land at the far end used for a coach park, I have not been for a few years.😀
I stayed at Sutus Court in the past, as cheap as 560baht a night, big swimming pool, plus a large long jacuzzi. Yes it’s getting old, but value for money, location, lots of different rooms to choose etc!
I'm staying at the Golden Sea Hotel right now, 7th floor with poolview. Very nice and quiet. Pool big enough for laps. Very helpful staff (printing of documents) Very clean. Highly recommend
You finally found my honey hole, GSP. Love how centrally located it is and on a song Tao route. For the price GSP suits me just fine. I’ve also stayed at Soi Honey Inn with no complaints. Both of these are good choices, they’re not the Hilton but they are budget friendly and in great locations.
Ha....I stayed in room 404 at Honey Inn last year....was not great...the wifi wasn't reliable but the staff were nice....as is almost always the case. Thanks for posting 👍👍👍
My big decision for my November visit will be whether to book a nice, (kind of fancy) high rise condo for the full month, or hop from place to place, trying out a lot of different hotels. If I decide to do the "hotel hopping", these kinds of places would work out great. Thanks, Daz.
@@mateor7302Not only new areas but hotels can be so impersonal and just a dull room and if you get stuck there the whole trip becomes dull. Sometimes, however, you find a guesthouse or hotel that you feel at home with and even become friends with.
Thanks Daz - I would recommend the Soi Honey hotels over the Soi Buakhao ones due to the noise. Soi Honey is a much quieter side street where as Buakhao never sleeps!
D Apartment 1,2 and express are good places to stay just off soi Buakhao. Currently look like 650baht to 850baht on Agoda. Staff are really friendly and helpful. Pool isn’t great in 1 and 2 (they share a pool on the roof of the new building) but it nice quiet and get the sun all day long. The pool on the roof of express is better as it’s newer.
I stayed at the Honey Inn on my first trip to Thailand in 2015. Decent enough for the price. I've now stayed at the 247 three times and will be again in a few weeks. The only down side is the noise from Tree Town until 2pm and the slightly small balcony. Other than that it's a great hotel in a great location. For my upcoming 19 night stay I payed £379. Can't argue with that :)
Great tour and very helpful… One thing was wondering is whether any of these hotels (or others have adjoining rooms)? Also, have you done any tours for suites that have two bedrooms?
stayed at the sun view place many times a good few years back, was good value then they raised the prices but seams they have either come down or stayed the same now
I think I'll be looking at the Golden Sea and the 24/7 boutique when i go to Pattaya this September the other ones didn't flout my boat i know the other ones are nice and very cheap but there's something about them.
I'm glad that you did not include the word "swimming" in your title when referring to the pools. When you watch most review videos or photos, the hotel swimming pools look LONG. In reality, most hotel pools in Pattaya are just soaking pools or kiddie pools especially those on the rooftop. I like to lap swim for exercise when I'm in Thailand. At a minimum, for lap swimming, I prefer 15 yards or 13 meters (one length) in a rectangular shaped pool. I know of hotels with lap swimming pools in Phuket and Bangkok, but I have yet to find one in Pattaya. If any of your viewers know of a LAP swimming pool (preferably with swim lines on the bottom of the pool), I'd appreciate knowing about it. I'm making plans for a trip early 2004 and a lap swimming pool would be nice. Thanks! (p.s. I tried swimming in the ocean, but the water was nasty.)
Have you ever seen the Sailor hotel? I think it is in the Pattaya tai aerea. Thanks for all the good infomations! I watch them all first thing in the morning.
Can t figure out where the honey Inn Hotel is on soi honey. Say I come up it from second road is it on the left the same side as the old honey Inn Hotel now the soapy. Or is it on the right. Good video daz
You have to add 10% and 5% to get Agoda actual rate when you click to book. You can select baht or dollars. Agoda advantage is they stand behind the deal, no surprises. Thanks for all 3 hotels. Obviously 247 is modern and looks fresh, but the others have their appeal too.
...in addition, bathtub which I don't need, but very good water pressure and a nice, big shower head. Safety Box working perfectly. Good quality TV with international channels. In many places, some of these details are disappointing. Again, highly recommend the Golden Sea Pattaya
Would the 247 Holtel be more quite being off the street? I like the idea of being in the central area but I don't want to be awake every night until 3 or 4 by the bar croud. Or would I be better to get something further out of the center?
Last one was ok ish. The rest your usual yellow/brown old tired looking interiors which are cheap for a reason. The pools were ok for a cool off but sun bathing space at an absolute minimum.

Daz, can you do a review on "Centara (?)" Hotel. How close is it to walking street ? Soi Buakhao? And other main entertainment areas. Pls mske a personal reply as far too many silly people write silly comments.
Do you mean "Centra by Centara Avenue Hotel"? That's how I found it on Agoda. Centra is the budget but still nice little brother of the Centara line. In this case, the actual name of this Centra location is actually Avenue Hotel. So I think the name should be Centra Avenue Hotel by Centara but that's not how it's listed on Agoda and that search comes up dry. So unless you come on a travel agent booking you never find it, and end up next door at the much more expensive Centara Azure. Be careful with search terms on Agoda!
Do you mean the Centara Azure? It is on Soi 15. Very close to Soi Boomerang and Buakhao. Could walk to Walking Street but only about 60 baht by mototaxi. The Centara hotels are all going to be a little more expensive than the ones in this video. Hope this helps. If you are in that budget range, I think the Adelphi on Soi 21 or Sleep with me Pattaya on Soi 19 would be better choices. Both very nice hotels close to Tree Town and transportation.
If you guys Go for a month or something like that, the best option is to rent a condominium, they are really cheap in Pattaya from 180$ or less, full equipment, pool, gym, near the Market. There’s some near the beach from 230/300$ full equipment.
I have stayed at 247 a few times. It is an ok hotel. However last time i stayed there they didn't have frosted glass between be room and shower, but just normal glass, so no more watching the tgf bathing.. 5555
Hello Daz, No doubt that the last hotel you’ve shown, the “247 Boutique” is the best one. At least in my opinion. But I must say something about the room in “Golden Sea”. The view you see from the balcony of the room is horrible!!! You know? I am a smoker and I use the balcony for smoking. With such a sight from the balcony, one can quit smoking!!! A TERRIBLE sight !!! I will not book such a room even for 500 Baht or even less.
Let me think? Go to Pattaya? But there is a few things to consider. If it is Sex&Beer&Rock'n Roll a few weeks? Who need a swimming pool? There is a sea a few blocks away from Buhakow. Or a 10 B bus ride ( songtheaw) south or north. And a walking distance (pls avoid Walking Str or S 6) to Buhakow on Soi Charlemprakiat (3rd Rd). Prices are lower and more quiet. Don't rent a high end hotel if you think about a relation = I have cash = give her a handbag or something made of gold. Remember= I don't have money 😢😢
