Brilliant vlog. I need a break for a few weeks and can't be arsed with Europe so would definitely like to try Thailand...this is just what I'd like ...nothing too posh but big, clean and liveable ....👍🏻👍🏻
Yes.... you do a great job of showcasing the many varieties of Condos.. I like the ones that were a bit older and less expensive but yet had larger floorplans.. It seems that the quality was very good and nicely constructed good outdoor views and amenities.. Whereas the newer ones were smaller and much more pricey...
I am moving to Pattaya in late September. I have visited 12 times and my favorite videos are the extreme budget videos. Cheap condos, cheap food, and cheap entertainment. Its not that I am in any way a cheap charlie. But I like seeing a worse case scenario, just in case. Great Video, my best friend stayed in a cheap guest house near Angket condo. $270 us for a month, in February!!!
Very good info Daz, yes, keep doing some cheap reviews for us. If some watchers are like me, we just need to get a.foot into the door, then upgrade once there, if needed. But the ones you are showing are actually better than where I live now, and wayyy cheaper. Thanks Daz, hope to meet ya one day in person.😊
I echo the great comments. Your down to earth approach is greatly appreciated. Keep em coming, Sir. My wife and I plan to scout soon. Agape. Sam Alix, Texas.
I really love your honest videos, every one I've seen gives great information, helpful details and please keep up the great videos, all price ranges, from cheapest to ultra luxury, it's nice to have the choice to compare prices, amenities, surroundings, what-to-do's in the area, really appreciate the information for a 'soon-to-be' expat, from New Hampshire, USA. Thank You, Daz, for all your hard work and time putting these videos together for everyone, Stay Healthy, Happy, and Safe, my friend.
I notice a lot of folks take your Gift to us of these videos and immediately want you to then check out more info on surrounding hotels they can easily do for themselves online with the generous info you have already provided . I just want to say Thank You for your excellent videos .
Thanks for sharing Daz, the first hotel won hands down for cleanliness, size of room, nice spacious pool and gym not to mention a coffee/snack bar, that second hotel just didn't do it for me at all tbh, looked a bit grubby and seemed like the receptionist couldn't be bothered, great video though (I really cant get over the price of that first hotel), regards from England 🍺🍺👍
Great job your channel is really very helpful for all of us salute your work. The last video you showed Thai smile serviced apartments in central Pattaya however it's on booking and Agoda too 4usd per night price with a pool and big good rooms. This is really a very good suggestion and we tried it it's worth it really. Thanks.
Thank you for providing such detail! I’m returning to Pattaya in February for at least a month and this info about hotels is very helpful. I’m sending you a momentary gift. 😊
A video on cheap monthly rentals in Pratumnak would be awesome. Especially places that dont lock you into a contract. Looking for a place for one or two month vacation.
I like your cheap hotels reviews. I just booked a month at the Tribe that you had a rewiew on a couple of months ago. Please continue at the low-priced places, because in these times people have less money. I'm peronally most interested in places in Jomtien and Pratumnak. 😊 Keep up your good work 👍
Very informative. I am considering coming over in August for my first trip to Thailand. Going to keep an eye on flight prices. I have decided to stay in the Jomtien area for the majority, if not all of my time there but may bounce around to several places. Have numerous places in mind. Might even be worth getting a month worth at the condo even though I won't be staying for that long.
James I was just there. I stayed in BKK two nights to rest from jet lag, Pattaya three days during Songkram, then calmer Jomtien, @ a hotel (1,000 THB a night 4 star, breakfast, gym). Then I bused to Hua Hin f/ three days, end of New Year's. Back to Pattaya. Of the four, I'd rather live in Jomtien. Headed back around Sept.
@@bijanbayne3259I am planning a 6 month trip there in July. I am looking for a nice condo but came across a tiktok video showing a luxurious condo with a cockroach infestation. Yes please provide more in this range and higher. I always enjoy what you show and the nice pace you have for the vlogs. Maybe slow down a tiny bit with the ladies.
The condos Park Lane, Paradise Park, Amazon, and The Orient are just down the side street from Angket Condo (the first one). All have decent pools and I think were built/ran by the same company. In the order I listed. So the Orient is brand new. Worth a look, I've stayed in 2 of them and they were decent, prices are good now too. A lot more modern then Angket at competitive prices. Paradise Park has my favorite pool of all time.
The Angket condo looks good, especially for that price. Might be a bit of a walk to the beach, but not too far. Might have to stay there myself if I stay in Jomtien for a month or more, which I might just do in the not too distant future!
That was great. I am 67 in the US and I want to retire in Jomtien next year. Maybe Cetus if I can get it. That hotel was so perfect for living, location and to get familiar with the area. Thank you so much. I hope to be there May 2024.
Good video 👍 I noticed that the two accomodations lacked cooking capabilities (sink, hot plate, kettle). Is this common? I enjoy having the option of preparing something light wherever I stay.
Liked the Angket condo might check that place out next time looks clean & not to shabby. Not happy the Flying Dolphin gone :0( Thanks for the videos, great work
Oh yes! I'm in Laguna 3 and pretty sure they will eventually connect the roads there. I'm looking for an economical spot in the near future and this fits the bill. Same Sqft and decor, why not save 60%. Thanks for your continued out and abouts around Pattaya and Jomtien. I'm here now and you were a huge influence in my decision. ❤
-Anget Condo is EXACTLY the type of place I look for when traveling, even when 'local' here in the Philippines. GREAT find. -the Neo elevator mirror was so dirty, even though you gave us a straight shot at you, your face was censored hahaha -Lone Star looks like the seating is super comfortable, so many places here have very hard and very straight backed bamboo chairs. Very uncomfortable and uninviting, especially for people like me with spine damage.
Angket Condo - that's what I call a bargain you found. An additional rented scooter would probably be very useful given the location, which is a little out of the way. As always in life - you can't have everything. Great research Daz.
That's your best find yet Daz. I'd definitely stay if not for being outside city area. For short holiday iwant to be in the action but damn if staying several months i would def stay
Had my Thai family stay at the Neo hotel last november booked 4 rooms . It was not clean and back packers were very noisy to very late and staff were not helpful. They told me that it was not a good hotel and please dont use this hotel again
Angket condo - never would have found that place on my own, so this was a great video for guiding the resident foreigner, or future resident. That area in Jomtien is attractive. You can walk on good sidewalks, ride your bicycle, or just get on the song thaew (baht bus). I am up near the Jomtien bus station, which is much busier, although never hear any noise from traffic, and knowing this area well enough I know the area by the Angket condo to be very quiet. Looks like a comfortable pool area, a reasonable gym, and a pleasant little coffee shop/restaurant. Only negative - no kitchen. But 6000 thb is very fair price. Definitely good that you showed the Neohotel. It was very depressing! One of your better videos! By the way, I have been wanting to try Trindys, that restaurant across the street from the Lone Star.
@everythingPattaya Of course, but come on! It's quite alright without a kitchen. It has a refrigerator to keep cold milk, juice, mango, and snacks. Just get a small microwave and a kettle. Again, really good work with your sensible videos.
