Wind chime made from soda cans

We get a lot of birds hanging out by our front door, it wouldn't be an issue if they were not pooping by my front door. I did a little googling and found out their own reflection, shiny or reflective light. I’m not sure if that’s true in all cases but I'd like to try something cheap. Some cans, zip ties, and some cheap small chains I had to make a wind chime made from cans. It seems to work for the first night, but it’s been a little windy. I see how it works over time.
