Not really. I love Luka but I understand why some people hate him. He's complaining at the refs a lot, he talks trash and can be arrogant at times. But that's usually how great players are.

He's basically in terms of skillset, a 6'7 230 pounds version of Steph. Not too quick, but quick enough, not too athletic but he's crafty enough to finish around or through bigger taller, and more athletic defenders! He can make every pass like a wizard and can bomb away from deep with pullups and stepback moves or hit you with an in-and-out crossover or in-between the leg moves. Like Steph he's a liability on defense but as long as you put defenders around him because he's going to be the matchup nightmare and have the full focus of the defense which actually make his game easier because he's such a great playmaker that you have to pick your poison and most NBA player don't know how to defend pick-n-roll maestros and Luka is already one.
Not really on stephs level of shooting and efficiency. Luka shoot like 31% from deep and Steph regularly shoots around 43%.

I use to say that in US, European are going to be better than American and they are going to run the basketball world and the NBA, people's was like " WHAT ? YOU DELUSIONAL and I am saying , back in the day young European have to move to another continent, country, new language and they have to adapted REAL QUICK without them family, NOWADAYS world are so much different, with social media, TV, Internet, you can stay in US and facetime or watching your family back to Europe or they can flight to see you and NOW everyone speak English
And our basketball adapts much better to the NBA, you can't drive anytime you want ( IMPOSSIBLE ) because our basketball court is SO SMALL and the center can stay in the paint as much he want, most our center are like Nikola Jokic or Rudy Gobert Size, you can score 20 points game IMPOSSIBLE ! you can't shoot without all your teammates touching the ball, The atmospheres are also totally different. In the NBA, the teams don’t deal with the same amount of pressure that the teams in Europe deal with, because every game is important, every game is played like it is a playoff game, ( you have the Euroleague cup ) the national cup of your country, The king cup, you play 3 competition in the same time, this is why the NBA trying to follow the Euroleague to be more competitive
