    In all likelihood, they never built such a complex structure just to bury a dead guy. They were an advanced civilisation who could precisely cut and move massive blocks of stone and knew many other things, I’m a fan of Bettanys but I don’t agree with her on that, and also, the dates are just based on organic material found between the stones, we don’t really know the age of the pyramids. And as she states, the nile went along the pyramids...which was around 8 thousand years ago.
