I have a 2023 Macan S, with the 2.9L twin turbo engine. I test drove the Q5 when looking for a new car, and I can promise you that these are completely different cars. There's no way I would have paid the significant premium for the Macan if I thought it was a re-badged Q5...

I have a 2014 Macan Turbo and agree with everything you’ve said. The drive is incredible! The most solid feeling car I’ve ever driven. I’m coming from a 435i pure turbos f32. And a number of 335i’s e92. This is another level.

They are Worlds apart. More power, better fuel economy and for some reason cheaper insurance!
The Macan is a virtual Frankenstein of VW bits and pieces and the best part is its DCT gearbox, rest you can throw away

I had one of these for 3 days, even in sport mode I shocked at how much turbo lag it had. My 1998 e36 M3 auto felt so much better...

I have watched all you 3,4 series videos the last days. I have sold my e92 335i MHD stage 1 two weeks ago which i have owend for exactly 3 years. So I was looking for a new car especially an F 4 series grand coupe went to test drive a 420d gc xdrive but as soon I put my foot down I was really disappointed I had zero fun in that car even though you praised in your videos I was really excited, in reality the 4 cylinder diesel is just for cruising around as soon you demand power after the inital getgo its feels just dead. it felt more like a bit faster golf engine wise. Definitely gonna avoid the 4 cylinder diesel doesnt do the car justice
I would get the 330d, more powerful, more economical and more fun
had a Macan S Diesel, still miss him, even if I now have the newest Macan S (not diesel) 😉
