I Love Snowstorms and just staying inside to watch it come down. I must say You're So Brave to go through such an Amazing journey. Congratulations ! You must be in excellent shape to do all that exercise and shoveling. That cannot be easy, I hope that you never overdo it. Thanks for sharing. Take good care.😊
I am SO glad you decided not to go out solo thru the deep snow in a record-breaking storm. SMART! Thank you for not putting clickbait ahead of your life!!! Kudos
When I heard about the storm I instantly thought of you😂😂 I knew you would be out there. That was ALOT of snow! Thanks for taping it and letting us see. Take care☃️☃️
Loved this video. Reminded me of being back in Montreal. I do have to disagree with you though. I got out of that much snow many times and never had 4x4 or tire chains back then. Mind you, it snowed like that multiple times a winter and we had lots of practice. Thanks for all the hard work!
That is a lot of snow. I grew up at Lake Tahoe, one winter we were out of school for ten days, we loved it, but we had no power. It was January 1964 near Echo Summit. My mom was going crazy having all of us cooped up in the house, we couldn't see out the windows.
Many great things about your vlog; you’re alive. The last time I watched you there was a very used aircraft involved. Your lovely lady still puts up with your Frozen 🥶 adventures. There is , so far, not Mac n cheese being consumed in a very cramped environment. Ah youth! P. s. It’s really great to view you again. Stay warm, safe ,and don’t let mom nature bite you (2) in da bum😉🦃
Eyyyy, you're back! I heard about that storm when it was about to hit the west coast, and thought to myself, "I wonder if Everest is going to get out in there and camp?" AND SURE ENOUGH!! That was a heck of a storm! It looked like you were nice and cozy in the van and had a very nice supper indeed! Glad you got in and got out!
LONG TIME NO SEE. WHY DO YOU WAIT SO LONG TO POST? EPIC SNOW AND YOU ARE THE ULTIMATE SNOW LOVER. I WISH YOU'D PLAY YOUR KEYBOARD MORE AND SING! YOU DO SING BEAUTIFULLY. ALSO HOPE YOUR 'NEW' LOVE LIFE IS GOING WELL. HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO YALL. LOVE, JULIE
The irony of your sign hanging from your mirror is not lost on me as you head off into a major snow storm in the Sierra Mountains. Glad you did not meet the fate of the Donner Party in this epic storm!
Hello, Everest. You’re back. I missed you. We missed you. I was always checking my notifs for your update. Thank you. And Hello also to your lovely Lady❤
@@TravelersTale A big tip.... Your exhaust - at some point make a removable extension that goes up the side of the van above the roof line and the end facing down wards(stops snow blocking it) that way if you leave the van on you don't get carbon monoxide poisoning from gas building up under the van....... And simple to remove use magnet fishing magnet to hold it in place with a bit of wire or chain wrapped around it... ps put a piece of cloth between the magnet and van it stops damaging the paint.
❤❤ OMG i was just thinking about you haven't seen anything from you in forever. Glad you aren't alone anymore. I know you love snow, and camping in it. I remember that little house you made awhile back in the snow... Safe Travels.🌨️❄️🌨️🥶🥶 Happy Thanksgiving wherever u are. 🦃🦃
I got stuck in Tahoe Donner a few years back ... more than 6 feet of snow in a weekend just before Christmas. When we shoveled the driveway, we were tossing it out well over our heads. A canyon of snow. Higher than the roof of a Chevy suburban. Snow nearly covered the tops of street signs. Snow covered the windows in the house... a house that was already 3 feet or more off the ground. Beautiful to look at. But an enormous amount of work to shovel. Took more than a day for the plows to show up on our street.
I just looked you up yesterday thinking surely I'd missed a post. There's no way you wouldn't be out with this atmospheric river hitting the North West. Glad you are back and looking forward to a great season.
I led some kids snow camping near there. We made igloo and saw some trees that were about a foot tall. I came back in the summer and checked the tree height. It turned out we were camping on 25' of snow.
Wow! Man, you are a good sport to do all the grunt work, shoveling ALL the snow the ENTIRE time. Get your list together for the next time and check off those snow pants!
lol.. when the guy walk through the door.. I figured.. ok... a 25 year old living in a van like that... I can see it for a few years. Then... she showed up and I was like.. hell no! LOL..
Love your videos! spent a lot of time traveling the country with a Silver Streak, never in this kind of snow. Grew up in Bend/Corvallis, so have been over the Cascades many times when the snow was 30 feet high (I assume you are from WA). That said, my concern watching your post was carbon monoxide, were your exhaust vents covered? Be careful. What about all the electricity you were using, solar panels would be useless, and any engine or generator exhaust vents would be covered, batteries would be easily depleted. I had 12 batteries at one time. I commend you for your tenacity and vitality, wow! Wonder if you scratched the paint on your van when shoveling? Camping next to a plowed road is wise, as a lot of instances where people thought they would be fine, and froze to death in the Sierras and the Cascades. Be careful! By the way I love Yosemite and Lassen etc., but not in winter, LOL! Best!
😂 You did say that you never get stuck, and you were right Everest. But man, that was a lot if digging there 🥵. I really enjoyed this video and I'm so happy that you're back 👍🤗❤️✨️
Nice adventure! I live in Canada, and have had to deal with lots of snow, sometimes as much as you just did. Everytime I see some youtuber make list the things you need to keep for an emergency in winter, they all for get a good snow shovel! They all have those "tactical" shovels and tretching tools...but they suck for snow. As you show, that snow shovel is worth its weight in gold in getting out of being stuck in snow. Also, one warning about using that sudden stop technique for cleaning your roof...it can also damage or destroy your wipers and/or the armatures for the wipers...so be careful doing that! We have tools for cleaning snow off the roof of taller vehicles, and as we may have to do it all season, it is worth keeping in your vehicle.
In this kind of weather it's best to keep the vehicle your staying in dug out frequently. Don't let it get to deep. It will make it much easier to clear a path when it's time to leave. 10 feet feom the plowed road is alot of work to say the least.
I haven't tuned in for a while. I dropped my subscription because....well....we're here for you. Not click bait, clingy, fake, awkward moments. Do more solo stuff. Leave the "snow pants" at home and go back to your roots. You'll be pleasantly suprised.
She remained in the car while he dug it out, went for a hike and she didn't even bother to make HIM breakfast?!??!?! also.. where do you bathroom in there? Lol... WTH?
Now that is slick the way to the bed comes down cool I’m here watching Tuesday, November 26 watching now 6:30 PM wow that’s a lot of snow. Stay safe but as long as you got heat, you should be good.👍👍
Good stuff love winter camping videos. You may want to remove that license plate frame it obscures the state and gives cops a reason to pull over the vehicle. Subscribed…. 17:41
5 month hiatus!! Your RUclips peeps done thought you weren’t coming back! Just you let a blizzard come along…good enough reason for you to be getting out your equipment and start filming!!
Forgetting your snow pants is a great way to get out of schlepping through that storm.
lol…sounds like a little pre-planned sus to me…😂😂😂
Folks watching, always dig out your tailpipe area in heavy snow. Huge safety concern.
That's what I was worried about. CO2 poisoning.
I don't think they use their engine to heat themselves up. They probably have a diesel heater that has another exhaust pipe or an electric heater.
"HUNKER DOWN" !!!!

Wow it looked like Donner's Pass but more! You are both brave and strong. Nice of the snowplan man to help you! Stay safe and God bless.

Sure she didn't forget her snow pants on purpose?? Cause I would have. She didn't look disappointed about it either.
The ski pants were hidden away, trust me! 😉
Grain shovel for shoveling snow is the only right way to go❤❤❤❤❤

I missed you dear boy😊
Lucky guy i wish I was stuck alone with her in there. Have fun.
When Everest says it's the worst winter storm he has ever been through, that's how you KNOW it's bad before you even see it! That was bonkers!!
You two make a cute couple !!!

You should be using bear claw snow shoes, so as to not fall through powdery snow.
Basically she just watches while you do all the work
So true
His idea, he gets to do all the work
Been watching the weather and wondering when your next adventure would hit!
Welcome back ! What happened with the off grid cabin you were working a year ago?
😂 You did say that you never get stuck, and you were right Everest. But man, that was a lot if digging there 🥵. I really enjoyed this video and I'm so happy that you're back 👍🤗❤️✨️
Excellent job! You definitely don't need a gym membership after that workout
omggg i just commented yesterday missing your wintery adventures... thank you for all that you do!
